The general manifestations of depression can be divided into three aspects: core symptom group, psychological symptom group and somatic symptom group, namely: low mood, decreased interest, and anhedonia.
These three symptoms are considered typical of severe depression, but these typical symptoms do not necessarily occur in all patients.

Not a depression.
Strictly speaking, it does not describe an emotion, but a set of emotions, including sadness, distress, and depression, which anyone can encounter, and we can generally refer to this group of emotions as "unhappiness".
In general, emotional depression can be self-regulated within two weeks.
Is it depression for a child to cut a hand with a knife?
This behavior may be depression, or it may be mania, paranoid personality, etc. Once it is found that your child has a tendency to self-harm or suicidal behavior, you should take your child to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
Is it depression to be uninterested in anything and feeling tired and lazy?
This requires attention to whether there is neurasthenia and insufficient blood supply to the brain, whether there is poor sleep and excessive stress, whether there is long-term low-head cervical spondylosis, whether there is hypotension and anemia, etc., and then consider whether to have depression when the physical condition is normal.
Have suicidal thoughts been depressed?
For people with depression, the most serious problem is suicide. Therefore, many people will think that suicide is a common symptom of depression. But the idea of suicide is not depression, it may be extreme thoughts caused by certain stimuli, such as life pressure, work pressure, etc.
But both depressed people and normal people should not have suicidal thoughts, and should not give up their lives at will. Everyone should regulate their emotions in life, learn to treat life positively, and have a good life.
Prevention and treatment of depression
Seek medical attention as soon as possible
Don't struggle, don't be difficult to talk about because you are sick, it is easier to find the location of the disease through medical treatment, and get rid of the pain as soon as possible through targeted treatment.
Open your heart and speak up
Many patients may prefer to lick the wound alone, but this situation is not conducive to the treatment of the disease. It may be difficult for patients to open up and communicate with people, but positive talk may make your condition better, and I believe that your friends will be happy to listen to your experience.
Get off the web and walk around outdoors
According to some data, exercise can make people happy and relaxed, and it is also a natural painkiller for the human body. Going outdoors to walk or exercise more is not only beneficial to overcoming the patient's loneliness, but also to relieve stress and tension, while alleviating the torment of depression.
Find hobbies and focus on hobbies
Having a positive hobby, you can listen to music or draw and spend a certain amount of time focusing on it, and through hard work you can get a sense of accomplishment from these hobbies, and maybe even find a sense of confidence and pleasure in meeting good friends because of your hobby.
In fact, depression is not so terrible, if someone around you suffers from depression. Please actively and without deliberately helping him, because our care and companionship is the best medicine to help him out of the shadows.
