Xie Mengqiu (1925-1997) was a native of Weinan, Shaanxi. Qin Lu playwright and opera critic. Graduated from the Drama Department of Northwest Arts College, he has served as an editor and reporter of Shaanxi People's Radio and a full-time screenwriter in the Artistic Creation Research Office of the Weinan Regional Drama Management Association.
