On April 15th, WM Motor held a new car launch conference and officially launched the new WM E.5 intelligent pure electric car, with two new models, namely the new WM E.5 Pro and the new WM E.5 Zhixingke.
In terms of appearance, the new WM E.5 adopts an enterprising, simple and pure design concept, presenting an elegant vehicle shape. In the front part, the new WM E.5 adopts a soaring wing line design, which brings a strong impact to the new car and is full of movement. The grille adopts a closed design, which is also the meaning of pure electric models. The headlight groups on both sides use quadrilateral geometric elements, which are simple and very personal, and are fully recognizable after lighting. The brand LOGO located in the center supports the interactive lights outside the car, and can present different interactive effects when the vehicle is charged, unlocked and locked.
In the side part, the new car adopts a sprint waistline design, coupled with the front low and back high vehicle posture, showing a strong sense of sport. The roof features a slip-on design that further enhances the sporty atmosphere. The new car is equipped with 18-inch five-panel two-tone wheels that show a sense of sportiness while losing personality.
The rear is designed with multiple layers of lines, which further enhances the vehicle's sense of premium. The taillights are butterfly-winged and blackened, echoing the headlights while providing greater recognition. In terms of size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4718/1838/1535mm, and a wheelbase of 2810mm, resulting in excellent interior space performance.
In the interior part, the new WM E.5 adopts the cosmic black interior color, combined with the treatment of metal brushing, mature and stable at the same time, but also brings a touch of science fiction. The new car is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a 12.3-inch central control screen, combined with a three-frame multi-function steering wheel, and a knob-type electronic gear shift mechanism, which greatly enhances the technological sense of the cockpit.
The new WM E.5 is equipped with an ergonomic seat made of leather and fabric for an excellent texture. The front seats support heating for an enhanced ride. The new car is also equipped with a large panoramic canopy of 1.91 square meters, bringing a more transparent in-car visual experience.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the new WM E.5 is equipped with the Living Pilot 3.5 Base Pilot Assist System, combined with the 4 millimeter wave radars equipped with the whole vehicle, bringing full coverage of high-frequency driving scenarios in the full speed band, supporting ACC full-speed domain adaptive cruise, FCW front collision warning, AEB automatic emergency braking and other functions. In addition, the new WM E.5 features eps body stabilization system and aerospace-grade water and dust protection, further bringing an excellent sense of security to the vehicle.
The new WM E.5 is also equipped with the Living Mate intelligent cockpit system, which supports voice interaction, and each user can set up a unique WM ID to achieve a personalized experience. Through the mobile app, it is also possible to achieve remote locking, unlocking, window control, status viewing and other functions.
In the power section, the permanent magnet synchronous motor equipped with the new WM E.5 provides a maximum output of 120kW, a peak torque of 240 Nm, and three driving modes: ECO, SPORT, and COMFORT. The new WM E.5 is equipped with a ternary lithium battery with an energy density of 160wh/kg and a cruising range of 505km under NEDC conditions. And support DC fast charging, only about 39 minutes, you can charge from 30% to 80%.
Finally, in terms of price, the official guidance of the new WM E.5 Pro is priced at 180,100 yuan, with a limited-time preferential price of 150,100 yuan; the official guidance price of the new WM E.5 Zhixingke is 190,100 yuan, and the limited-time preferential price is 160,100 yuan. At the same time, WM also opened a new WM E.5 national customization plan, providing more than 100 kinds of customized colors for users to choose from, creating exclusive intelligent electric vehicles for users.
