Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1953, Carol Maguire has lived in suburban Philadelphia for the past 25 years. Carol Maguire holds a bachelor's degree in art history from Fairfield University and Sorbonne University. He completed his studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Barnes Foundation, and the Fleischer Memorial.
Since 2002, Maguire has devoted herself to painting and exhibitions. He has traveled extensively to India, Peru, Romania, Guatemala and Honduras, where he taught artistic techniques to indigenous women. He has served as an advisor to the State Department, responsible for the development of process skills and products, as well as designing projects for this purpose. He now teaches painting studios at home in Mexico, the Bahamas, Tuscany and the suburbs of Philadelphia.
