On April 13, Dongfeng Fengshen's new compact SUV - Haoji was officially unveiled. The new car is based on Dongfeng Group's DSMA advanced modular architecture platform, which provides two power forms: fuel and hybrid.
Haoji's shape is quite bold and avant-garde, quite the style of the new forces of the times, the black inverted trapezoidal middle net adopts a straight waterfall design, the size is quite exaggerated, occupying a large part of the front of the car, it seems very imposing; the middle net is equipped with an LED light strip that runs through the front of the car, the middle LOGO can emit light, and the LED daily running lights on both sides of the double slash shape are unique and highly recognizable. There is also an off-road-shaped lower skid plate under the front bumper, which brings a bit of wild temperament to the whole car.
Haoji body adopts the popular two-color design, the roof, A/B pillar, exterior mirror base + shell and rim are all black painted, the side double waist line is smooth and sharp, so that Haoji looks tight and capable from the side, without the slightest sense of bulkiness. The taillights also adopt the popular through-line design, and the internal light strip is also a double slash shape, which echoes the front-through light strip. Haoji body size is 4720*1910*1702mm, wheelbase is 2825mm.
In terms of interior, Haoji will provide two interior colors, each with a color block design, of which the light interior is a blue/white two-color color panel. The interior is laid with a large number of soft materials, while equipped with a considerable size of the instrument screen and the central control screen, the two screens also adopt a combined screen design (a total of 24.6 inches), the overall style of the interior is simple and has a sense of technology, and the double-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel adopts a gamepad-like design, and the shape is also quite chic.
It is worth mentioning that the Haoji co-driver seat provides a leg rest function, and the rear seat back not only provides ten-gear adjustment + aviation seat headrest, but also adjusts to a 180° flat state; in addition, Haoji also provides a WindLink car machine system that supports voice interaction functions, 540° surround image, mobile phone wireless charging, inductive trunk door and other configurations.
In terms of power, Haoji will provide pure fuel and hybrid two power forms, hybrid model will be equipped with 1.5T Dongfeng Mach power MHD dual-engine hybrid engine + ternary lithium battery core, the maximum power of the system is 180kW (245 horsepower), the system comprehensive torque of 540Nm; the fuel version will be equipped with a 1.5T engine, the maximum power can reach 150kW (204 horsepower), the maximum torque of 305Nm, matching the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Bookings for new cars will begin in late May this year and will be officially launched in the third quarter.
