Beijing, April 13 (China News Network) (Reporter Ying Ni) The 12th Ballet Creative Workshop of the National Ballet of China premiered at the Beijing Tianqiao Theater on the evening of the 12th. With the theme of "1/12", this year's Workshop brings to the audience 10 distinctive and cutting-edge works brought by young creative talents of China Andba.

“1、2、3、4...... 10, 11, 12, do it again, let's do it again..." Different from previous editions, this year's Workshop performance began with a special creative performance between general director Wang Sizheng and the Actors of China Ballet, which put the work status of the choreographers behind the scenes for the first time through condensed artistic forms, so that the audience can understand the creative process of confusion and joy behind the birth of a work from this rare scene.

This year's Workshop brings the audience 10 new works of the latest compilation and creation, the young choreographers are bold and innovative, sincere creation, the works are not only diverse in form, but also the theme involves art, life, emotion, culture and other aspects, with ballet art as the carrier to integrate the thoughts and ideas of contemporary youth. Sun Haifeng's "Yi", Su Yang's "Looking for the Zhong Zi Period", Shu Junjun's "The Soul of Shu Ti", li Jun's "Where is the Spring Return", skillfully combine Chinese culture and ballet art, and show the picture of ancient oriental civilization on the tip of the toe; Li Zhuangzhuang's "When Life is in Progress", Li Yang's "The Longest Journey", Peng Jie's "Home", Liu Xuechen's "Leaving the Original Grass" express the young choreographers' thinking and understanding of life and life, and use art to care for the present to transmit positive, optimistic and enterprising positive energy; Xu Yan, Wang Jiyu's "LIVE SHOW" and Yan Mengxuan's "Bye bye, Free Bones" by Yan Mengxuan, a student of China Ballet School, make bold attempts in line with the innovative theme of Workshop, in order to break through their own attempts and expand the boundaries of creation.

Founded in 2010, the "Ballet Creative Workshop" is a public welfare brand project created by China Ballet to cultivate young artistic talents, and has gone through 12 years. This year, both in terms of the volume of works and the number of participants, it has set a record for the previous Workshop.

Feng Ying, head of China Ballet and artistic director, said: "For Chinese, 12 is a special number, representing the cycle of time, but also representing our continuous accumulation, so in this workshop we not only dive down to review and summarize, but also look forward to the future." China Ballet has adopted the model of 'bringing the old to the new', which includes both the choreographers of the old generation of China Ballet, as well as the creative power of young and middle-aged people, as well as the new forces of China Ballet in the future, showing that China Ballet has always insisted on using Western ballet vocabulary to carry out bold attempts to express our own emotions and creation, hoping that young choreographers can open up the space for imagination, boldly explore and communicate, gather a group of outstanding creative talents, and open up our own path in original works. ”
