Yesterday, the press conference of "Role Model" was held in Shen, introducing the original intention of the performance, the creative process and the preparation for the performance. The ballet group poem "Role Model" is the first ballet dance group poem with the theme of promoting the spirit of Lei Feng. The work is a special fund support project for the creation and production of literary and artistic works by the Propaganda Department of the Cpc Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, produced by the Provincial Culture Group and independently interpreted by the Liaoning Ballet Youth Ballet, with the theme of carrying forward the "Lei Feng Spirit" and welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Party.

Different from traditional dance dramas, "Role Models" uses poetic dance vocabulary to show the theme, captures fragments of "Lei Feng's Diary" as creative materials, and establishes a text creation framework for dance poems. The whole work is divided into 5 chapters, presented in a juxtaposition structure: "a ray of light", "a grain", "a drop of water", "a brick" and "a nail". Comprehensively using classical ballet, neo-classical ballet and modern dance performance techniques, from virtual to real in artistic presentation, combined with stage art means such as stage scheduling, stage design, and video background, we deeply excavate the characteristics of dance art language itself, so as to establish the stage art logic between the main body of dance performance "youth" and the learning and inheritance of "Lei Feng spirit".
