Vivo officially launched the Vivo X Note smartphone. The smartphone comes with a huge 7-inch screen and is equipped with ZEISS optics. The device was released today alongside the Vivo X Fold and Vivo Pad.
Design with screen
The Vivo X Note is Vivo's challenge to its current high-end smartphone lineup. The device is characterized by a rough surface with parallel stitches in a vertical direction on the back. It is made of glass and has a pure leather feel.
The phone has a 7-inch curved display. This display is an LTPO 3.0 E5 AMOLED panel with QHD+ (3080 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The screen also features DisplayMate A+ certification and an aspect ratio of 21:10.
The phone has a larger area of 3D ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, Vivo added an alert slider to the left side of the device.

X Note learned a lot from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship SoC. It is paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It also features a Vivo V1 chip for image optimization.
It also comes with dual SIM slots, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi support. The device also has an IP68 waterproof/dustproof rating and is also equipped with an infrared emitter.
Battery and charging
The Vivo X Note comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Vivo claims that the phone can be fully charged in 32 minutes. The phone starts up on Android 12 right out of the box.

In terms of optics, the Vivo X Note features a new rear camera design. It features a quad camera system consisting of a 50MP Samsung GN 1 (OIS) main lens, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope telephoto (OIS) lens. The telephoto sensor supports 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. The cameras on the phone are tuned together by zeiss optics. On the front, it has an 8MP lens for selfies.
