With the increasing severity of the climate change situation, its impact on cultural and natural heritage has become increasingly prominent, and it has become one of the hot topics of concern in the international heritage community. The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) has identified the theme of this year's April 18 International Day of Monuments and Sites as "Heritage and Climate", with a view to further building sustainable heritage action goals and systems for addressing climate change, and strengthening exchanges between the heritage community and climate change-related professional fields.

The seminar will be held online + offline, inviting experts in the fields of cultural heritage, natural heritage, ecological environment, meteorological sciences and agricultural geography, as well as heritage site managers affected by climate change. The conference will focus on four topics: "International Trends of Climate Change and Countermeasures for Domestic Heritage Protection", "Management Strategies for Protecting and Responding to Climate Change in Heritage Sites", "Application of New Scientific and Technological Means in the Field of Heritage Protection", and "Technologies for the Protection and Restoration of Cultural Relics under Specific Climatic Conditions".
