Recently, Mercedes-Maybach released the official map of the Maybach S-class limited edition jointly created with designer Virgil Abloh. The new car is based on the Maybach S 680 and will be produced at the Mercedes-Benz Schindelfingen plant, with a limited edition of 39 units in the north American market in the future.
Some friends know mercedes-Benz Maybach better, but the history of the MAYBACH brand alone is not clear, and the brand was first created in the 1920s. Known as the "King of Design", Wilhelm Maybach was one of the three main founders of Daimler-Benz and one of the inventors of the world's first Mercedes-Benz car, which was co-founded by Wilhelm Maybach and his son Carl Maybach in 1919.

In 1941, Maybach was forced to stop production due to war, and in 1960, Daimler-Benz Motor Company acquired Maybach, which was still in the stage of discontinuation, and rebuilt and repaired its factory as MTU Friedrichshafen, which also had us belong to Maybach S.
In terms of appearance, the new car uses black and yellow color matching is very eye-catching, and this color matching concept is in line with the project MAYBACH concept car previously cooperated by the two sides.
Coming to the side of the body, the new car is equipped with 20-inch wheels, and what is more luxurious is that it also adopts the same color scheme as the body, which is very gorgeous and noble. In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 5470mm*1921mm*1510mm, and the wheelbase is 3396mm.
It is relatively low-key, the tail light style is exactly the same as the ordinary version of the S class, and the chrome exhaust pipe outlet is decorated with a horizontal strip, which is also the unique design of the Maybach S class, and the exhaust pipes with a total of four sides are hidden inside.
In terms of interior, the overall color scheme is highly consistent with the appearance, although there are only two colors, but it still creates a sense of dignity in the car. In terms of details, it can be seen through the central control screen information, and the control interface of the new car is also customized exclusively, making it a high degree of unity. 12.3 inch LCD meter and 12.8 inch touch screen.
The second row is still the focus of this car, it is a two-seat version of the design, full of honor, the information exposed this time is limited, there is no way to give a specific configuration.
In terms of power, the new car is still equipped with a 6.0T twin-turbo V12 engine, its maximum power is 630 horsepower, the maximum torque reaches 1000 Nm, and in terms of transmission system, the new car will match the 9-speed manual transmission and is equipped with a 4MATIC four-wheel drive system, and the 0-100km/h acceleration only takes 4.5s. This is also the history of Mercedes-Benz to install the V12 engine and the four-wheel drive system on its own car. The V12 engine will only be installed on the Maybach model, and the AMG S65 model equipped with the V12 engine has withdrawn from the historical stage.
Unlike the ordinary version of the Maybach S, the ordinary version is equipped with a 3.0T+48V motor, and a micro-hybrid powertrain equipped with a 4.0T twin-turbo V8 engine codenamed M176 and a 48V motor, in which the maximum engine power is 503 horsepower, the peak torque is 700 Nm, the 48V motor provides an additional maximum power of 20 horsepower and 180 Nm peak torque, and the official acceleration of 0-100km/h is 4.8 seconds.
