On 1 April, within the framework of a global collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Louis Vuitton launched a new Silver Lockit bracelet collection, designed by Virgil Abloh, who was Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton Menswear from 2018 to 2021. Continuing his first collaboration with UNICEF in 2020, the series aims to empower and support children in need.

The Silver Lockit bracelet collection for 2022 presents a new interpretation of Virgil Abloh, echoing the style of the first collection while maintaining its personal character, using innovative materials and new shades: primary/black titanium chains, padlocks and Louis Vuitton pendants with fluorescent yellow, colour and black lanyards. In February 2020, Virgil Abloh created and breathed fresh air into the Silver Lockit bracelet collection for the first time. He connects the iconic chain element to the wide lanyard, while the silver padlock and Louis Vuitton pendant are placed at the back to complete the bracelet.

Since 2016, Louis Vuitton has raised more than $18 million for UNICEF through the Silver Lockit Bracelet Series and Pendant Collection to support UNICEF projects around the world. Every year, Louis Vuitton launches a new silver Lockit bracelet series that continues to support UNICEF.
