At the end of 2019, Intel's 10th generation X series Core processors were listed, with 10-core i9-10900X priced at 6299 yuan and 18-core i9-10980XE priced at 12999 yuan. In terms of specifications, the i9-10980XE is 18-core, 36 threads, clock 3.00 GHz, turbo 4.60 GHz, up to 4.8GHz through turbo 3.0 technology, has a 24.75 MB cache, TDP 165W, supports 256 GB of memory, 48 PCIe channels, supports WiFi 6.
Currently, there is no more information on the Alder Lake-X series processors online. According to Foreign Media Tom's Hardware, the Alder Lake-X may have more cores than the mainstream 12th-generation Core models, and will not use a small core design. It's also possible that the Alder Lake-X processor will be a civilian version of the enterprise-class Sapphire Rapids-X with fewer cores but support for 8 channels of memory and AVX512.
