Back pain is not necessarily tiring, doctor: the appearance of these 5 kinds of pain, may be a sign of a serious illness

01

One day of back pain, the man died suddenly, and the doctor was caught off guard

After practicing medicine for so many years, I realized a truth: "The king of Yama told you to die three times, and no one can keep you until five more." "Especially the patient who just died suddenly made me feel the impermanence of life again."

"He obviously has back pain, how did he disappear so quickly?" I still can't believe it! ”

The trainee nurse who witnessed the death of the patient did not know how to calm her emotions for a while. When the uncle was sent, he looked like he only had a little pain in his back, and there were no other serious symptoms. But what the nurse didn't know was that he had aortic dissection, a very serious disease.

Looking back at this patient, although he was unwilling, he was more incompetent. At the age of 52, in his prime, his son had just gotten married, and he had to settle everything down and enjoy the rest of his life, but he left like this, and he didn't even see his son for the last time.

In the morning, he was taken to the emergency department. It turned out that he had intermittent back pain the night before, and the pain did not disappear until the next day, and even evolved into tearing pain.

Colleagues, out of professional instinct, immediately perceive that this may be aortic dissection. Sure enough, subsequent blood pressure measurements confirmed this, and the blood pressure difference between the left and right hands was as high as 28mmHg.

Although the colleague's reaction is very fast, it is still unable to resist the change in the condition. The patient, who was still sitting in a chair for the previous second, suddenly fell to the ground, the carotid artery pulsated and breathing stopped, and the heart also had a sudden stop.

The whole three hours of rescue still did not save the patient's life. Looking at our colleagues with red eyes and the family members who were crying and crying, I felt for the first time our helplessness in the face of evil diseases.

Back pain is mainly physiological and pathological two reasons, physiological is our common long-term wearing of high heels and flip-flops, long-term use of mobile phones and computers, bras do not fit, and long-term emotional over-tension and excessive pressure.

For physiological reasons, as long as we change our habits, the pain will generally disappear, and we don't have to be too nervous. The pathological cause is back pain caused by some diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, ankylosing spondylitis, visceral disease, heart disease and so on.

For pathological pain, it must be paid attention to so as not to repeat the tragedy!

Left back: cardiovascular disease

The human heart is generally on the left side, so the back pain caused by heart disease will generally be concentrated on the left side of the back. Among them, the most typical are angina, acute aortic dissection and myocardial infarction.

During an attack of angina, there will be significant pain in the anterior area of the heart, but this is not absolute, and pain may occur in the back, left shoulder, jaw, etc. Therefore, pain in these areas occurs, and angina is suspected, and you can go to the hospital for electrocardiogram, coronary angiography and electrocardiogram and electrocardiogram.

Chest, back, and abdominal pain occurs for a very short period of time and becomes more intense, even developing into tearing pain, possibly acute aortic dissection. It is important to note that this pain tends to start first on the front chest and extends to the back.

If there is pain in the chest and complicated neuralgia in the back, there is a high suspicion of myocardial infarction, which is often worse after activity and then lighter after rest.

Reminder: If the three highs and patients with coronary heart disease suddenly have chest pain or back pain, as well as breathing difficulties and a sense of imminent death, they must call the emergency number immediately, and there must be no delay!

03

Lower back: ankylosing spondylitis

Early ankylosing spondylitis is characterized by pain in the spine at the neck, back, and shoulders. Because many patients mistakenly believe that it is caused by overwork after the appearance of pain, and there is no pain in the spine at the beginning, it is easy to misdiagnose early ankylosing spondylitis.

Low back pain due to ankylosing spondylitis generally lasts longer, basically greater than or equal to three months, and the more you rest, the stronger the pain. Especially in the lower lower back position, pain begins from the bottom up of the sacrum, and these areas are limited in movement, squat is difficult, and there is a high suspicion of ankylosing spondylitis, which can be diagnosed by going to the hospital by conventional X-rays, CT, MRI examination and physical examination.

04

On both sides of the waist: acute nephritis

Because the sensory nerve fibers of the kidneys and ureters are transmitted through the visceral nerves to the lumbar and thoracic nerves, pain is evident in the lower back after problems with the ureters and kidneys. In particular, the pain caused by acute nephritis, the most typical is waist soreness or dull pain, when the condition is severe, the pain will be aggravated, and the pain will even extend along the ureter to the perineum.

Of course, other kidney diseases can also cause low back pain, such as kidney stones, hydronephrosis and kidney tuberculosis.

05

Vest: duodenal ulcer

If you have duodenal ulcers, you may irritate the celiac plexus and cause pain. At this point, the pain radiates to the back, especially to the vest area.

It should be noted that if it is only epigastric pain and there is no pain in the back, it may be duodenal ulcer occurring in the anterior wall of the ball; if there is back pain, then duodenal ulcer may occur in the posterior wall of the ball; if the back continues to be severe pain, it may be a penetrating ulcer of the posterior wall.

Duodenal ulcer can generally be diagnosed by gastroscopy, and if gastroscopy is not available, capsule endoscopy can be used to diagnose it and take antacids.

06

Spine: bone pain

The vast majority of low back pain, especially spinal pain, is associated with primary osteoporosis. In general, this pain will radiate along the spine to the sides, and the pain will be reduced to a certain extent when lying flat or sitting, and the pain will be aggravated when standing and stretching for a long time.

Suspected of primary osteoporosis, you can go to the hospital for bone density testing and strengthen nutrition to ensure exercise.

If there is radioactive sciatica, the site of pain is the waist, buttocks, the outside of the legs, and the back of the feet, and is highly suspected of lumbar disc herniation. Diagnosis can be made by X-ray, CT or MRI. Such patients must usually pay more attention to rest, and must be treated by surgery.

If it is pain in the lower back muscles, and this pain evolves from the initial soreness to the simple induration of the lower back muscles, which is aggravated after exertion and relieved after appropriate rest, it may be caused by long-term anticipation in a wet and cold environment. Such patients should rest more and pay attention to keep warm.

If you have any unexplained back pain, be sure to go to the hospital in time for examination. No disease can be left to chance, only early detection and early treatment can reduce the harm to a minimum!
