Atox statement: Severely crack down on the illegal licensing of the legendary three-terminal engine of Entertainment Virtue ###
On April 7, after the announcement of Sheng Qu Games, the copyright holder of the "Legend" game, Atoshi and True Legend Co., Ltd., made a statement regarding the illegal authorization of Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd. and other entities to develop, operate and promote the "Legend 2" derivative game and the three-terminal game engine, seriously infringing on the legitimate rights and interests of the company. Atox & True Legend Co., Ltd. will pursue the infringement liability of all parties in accordance with the law and take all measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of their own enterprises!

Atox Software Co., Ltd. and Korea Entertainment Virtue Co., Ltd. jointly own the copyright of the online game Legend of Mir 2 (Chinese name: Legend 2). In December 2020, Atox Software Co., Ltd. transferred all the intellectual property rights and business of Legend Games, including Legend 2, to True Legend Co., Ltd. (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Atox Software Co., Ltd. and True Legend Co., Ltd." are referred to as "our Company").
Our company now makes the following solemn statement in view of the recent illegal authorization of Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd. and other entities to develop, operate and promote the "Legend 2" derivative game and three-terminal game engine, which seriously infringes on the legitimate rights and interests of our company:
1. In December 2021, the Supreme People's Court of China rendered a number of final judgments on the dispute over the licensing of the Legend 2 game, among which the (2020) SPC Zhimin Zhong No. 402 Civil Judgment finally determined that the "Legend 2" authorization renewal agreement signed between our company and Sheng Qu Games in 2017 was legal and valid. Pursuant to the relevant license agreement, the relevant exclusive license of Legends 2 Games in Chinese mainland has been legally extended to September 28, 2023.
2. The (2020) SPC Zhimin Zhong No. 395, 396 and 399 Civil Judgments rendered by the Supreme People's Court of China in December 2021 clearly found that the introduction of new authorized entities by the Yumei side infringed on the legitimate rights and interests of our company in Chinese mainland. In spite of China's judicial judgment and our company's opposition, The Legend IP of Entertainment Virtue Company and Legend Co., Ltd. has recently authorized Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd., etc. to develop, operate and promote the "Legend 2" derivative game and the three-terminal game engine in the Chinese mainland seriously infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of our company.
3. The authorization behavior of The Legendary IP of Entertainment Virtue Company and Co., Ltd. in Chinese mainland has previously been prohibited by multiple Chinese courts. In November 2019, the Yichun Intermediate People's Court issued an effective injunction ruling, and Yumeide Company and Legend IP Co., Ltd. immediately stopped authorizing the adaptation rights of the "Legend 2" game to any third party Chinese mainland. In September 2020, the Shangrao Intermediate People's Court also issued an effective injunction ruling, and entities such as Yudede Company and Legend IP Co., Ltd. immediately stopped directly or indirectly authorizing any third party to re-adapt the "Legend 2" game Chinese mainland. The above ban on the licensing of adaptation rights to the Game of Legends 2 is still in effect.
The German side respects the authority of the Chinese judiciary and immediately stops illegally authorizing the "Legend 2" game in the Chinese mainland! If there are third-party entities or game industry practitioners who insist on promoting the authorization and related business cooperation related to the "Legend 2" game knowing that the above-mentioned entities such as Entertainment Virtue have no legal rights, our company will also pursue the infringement liability of all parties in accordance with the law and take all measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of our company!
