On the evening of April 6, as the parent company of Korea True Legend Company and the exclusive right holder of the "Legend" game in the Chinese mainland, Sheng qu games are now illegally "authorizing" Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd. and other entities to develop, operate and promote the "Legend" derivative game and the three-terminal game engine. In the case of serious infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of Sheng Qu Games, the following solemn statement is hereby made to correct the audio-visual:

In 2001, Sheng qu Games (formerly Shanda Games) introduced the "Legend" game to China, and through more than 20 years of operation and promotion, "Legend" has been built into one of the network culture IP with continuous influence in the Chinese market. Pursuant to the relevant licensing agreement, Sheng Qu Games has been enjoying exclusive licenses for legendary games in Chinese mainland and other regions, including operating rights, adaptation rights, etc., which has been legally extended to September 28, 2023.
In December 2021, the Supreme People's Court rendered a number of final judgments on the licensing dispute of the Legend game, among which the (2020) SPC Zhimin Zhong No. 402 Civil Judgment finally found that the Legend Game Renewal Agreement was legal and valid, and the (2020) SPC Zhi Min Zhong No. 395, 396 and 399 Civil Judgments clearly ruled that the introduction of a new authorized entity by the Entertainment Virtue Party in the Chinese mainland infringed the legitimate rights and interests of South Korea's Artos Company.
The illegal authorization behavior of Yumeide Company, legendary IP co., Ltd. and related entities in Chinese mainland has long been prohibited by the effective injunction of the mainland courts.
In response to the illegal authorization of the legendary IP of Yude Company and related entities in Chinese mainland, the Yichun Intermediate People's Court has issued an effective injunction ruling on November 13, 2019, and Yumeide Company and Legend IP Co., Ltd. immediately stopped authorizing the adaptation rights of "Legend" games to any third party Chinese mainland. On September 4, 2020, the Shangrao Intermediate People's Court also issued an effective injunction ruling, and entities such as Entertainment Virtue Company and Legend IP Co., Ltd. immediately stopped directly or indirectly authorizing any third party to re-adapt the Legend game under the Chinese mainland. The above effective injunction ruling is still being enforced.
Entertainment Virtue Company, LegendARY IP Co., Ltd., Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd., etc. in the Chinese mainland themselves or authorized to develop, operate or promote the "Legend" derivative game and the three-terminal game engine seriously infringed on the legitimate rights and interests of Sheng Qu Games.
In the case where the Supreme People's Court made a final judgment and clearly determined that the exclusive authorization agreement of "Legend" was legal and valid, and in multiple local courts explicitly prohibited its authorization in the Chinese mainland, Yumeide Company and Legend IP Co., Ltd. still illegally authorized Fujian Puman Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinyu Network Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Fujian Mir Network Technology Co., Ltd., and Hubei Qushang Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd. to develop, operate or promote it on their own or with authorization in Chinese mainland. The spin-off game and the three-terminal game engine of "Legend" not only seriously infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of Sheng Qu Games, but also maliciously violate the effective judgments and rulings of the mainland, and seriously flout the judicial authority of the mainland!
In response to such infringing three-terminal engines, with the active cooperation of Sheng Qu Games, the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau Economic Investigation Corps, the Third Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Procuratorate, and the Criminal Trial Division of the Shanghai Third Intermediate People's Court have successfully handled the copyright infringement case of the three-terminal private server engine of "Legend" in 2021, and the relevant three-terminal engine producers and operators of the three-terminal game have been investigated for criminal liability according to law. The case has been reported by many authoritative media such as People's Daily, People's Court Daily, Shanghai Rule of Law News, etc., and has been selected as one of the top ten intellectual property cases with the most research value in China in 2021 for many times, becoming a benchmark case for rights protection in the domestic online game industry. Based on this case, Sheng Qu Games will further strengthen the crackdown on such infringing three-terminal engines and actively purify the market environment of "Legends" games.
Above, Wangyu Virtue and the above-mentioned entities respect the judicial authority of the mainland, abide by the final judgment of the Supreme People's Court and the effective injunction rulings of many local courts, that is, immediately stop the illegal authorization of the copyright of the "Legend" game and the development, operation and promotion of related infringing games in the Chinese mainland! At the same time, it is hoped that the majority of online game practitioners will fully understand the truth of the facts, and if they know that the above-mentioned entities such as Entertainment Virtue and other entities still insist on promoting the licensing cooperation and related game business related to the "Legend" game without legal rights, Sheng Qu Games will further carry out rights protection actions and pursue the joint infringement liability of relevant entities according to law.
