In the Chery New Energy Special Vehicle Mining Card Modification Workshop located in the Ordos Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, workers are assembling parts for pure electric tractors, which is invested and built by Inner Mongolia Yingfeng Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chery Group, with pure electric power batteries as energy, mainly used for coal transportation and sand and gravel transportation.
"Our products have a long range and low energy consumption rate, saving 30% per year of energy costs per 100 trams compared to conventional tractors, reducing diesel consumption by 5.47 million liters and reducing carbon emissions by about 14,400 tons."

The project settled in Ordos Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park last year, based on the new energy heavy truck market in Inner Mongolia, and is committed to building the largest new energy mining card production and manufacturing base in the country. At present, the company already has the ability to assemble some parts of the chassis, has the qualification and production capacity of self-unloading, sanitation and other models, and the annual production capacity of the first phase is planned to reach more than 6,000 units.

Inner Mongolia Bixuan Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is an enterprise that produces unmanned coal mine transportation equipment, and settled in Ordos Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in 2017. At present, the explosion-proof diesel engine, remote control crawler transport vehicle and other products produced by the enterprise have been sold to Shanxi, Hebei and other places. This year, the company has newly developed a crawler dispatching and transportation robot to solve the transportation of auxiliary materials in the narrow roadway under the coal mine, and has now entered the mass production stage, and it is expected to produce 50 units a year.

In recent years, Dongsheng District has continuously changed its development mode, accelerated industrial transformation and upgrading, and forced industrial transformation with the goal of "double carbon". In 2021, the introduction of major projects such as Chery new energy vehicles, CRRC wind turbines, and Shanhe Juding mining machinery manufacturing will form five major industrial clusters of electronic product manufacturing, automobile and parts manufacturing, new energy equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials. In 2021, industrial investment increased by 0.7% year-on-year, accounting for 24.4% of total investment, and manufacturing investment increased by 161.1% year-on-year, accounting for 32% of industrial investment.
In 2022, Dongsheng District will focus on promoting the development of the whole new energy industry chain, and fully promote the construction of 25 projects such as the Grove Hydrogen Valley, the Canadian Energy Star Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain, the Shanghai Remodeling Hydrogen Fuel Cell, the BOE Multi-Energy Complementary Clean Energy Base, the Penghui Smart Energy Storage and Power Battery Industry Chain, and the CRRC Wind Power Machine Manufacturing expansion.
