China Mobile Procurement and Bidding Network issued an announcement that it will purchase 2 million Honor Magic4 series mobile phones, which are currently in the publicity stage, and this order is at least more than 8 billion yuan.
The Honor Magic4 series was released in overseas markets at the end of February and returned to China in mid-March, with three versions: standard version, Pro version and ultimate version.
According to data from China Mobile's procurement and bidding network, this is not the first time that China Mobile has purchased Honor mobile phones, and 1.5 million Honor 60 series models have been purchased in January this year. In the short term, the total amount of mobile orders may be about 15 billion yuan, which will also effectively help the growth of Glory's market share and stand in the top three positions of shipments in 2022.
China Mobile said that most of the models purchased by China Mobile will be sold in the business hall and its own channels, and internally call it the "equity version" mobile phone. These models and mobile phone manufacturers have not much contact, the system may also have some built-in operator software, with various packages sales prices will be preferential, compared to the official channels will be slightly lower.
Honor CEO Zhao Ming said that in the face of the call for self-developed chips, joint innovation with the supply chain and independent self-research are a means of choice, and Honor currently has all chip development and design capabilities except the core SOC. But the chip is a very complex system and engineering, Glory will choose chip solutions according to the needs, Honor has its own choices, and Glory will be Qualcomm's strategic partner for a certain period of time.
It is reported that the Honor Magic4 series has a total of eight different versions, the public price is 8GB + 128GB 3999 yuan, 8GB + 256GB 4499 yuan, 12GB + 256GB 4899 yuan, 12GB + 512GB 5399 yuan. On June 11, 2019, China Mobile collected 5G terminals (beta versions), including 10,100 5G mobile phones and 7,000 5G CPE terminals. It is reported that the 5G mobile phones in this collection include: Huawei Mate 20 X (5000 units), vivo NEX (100 units), OPPO Reno 5G (1000 units), Xiaomi MIX 3 (2000 units), ZTE AX 10 Pro (2000 units). The current state of 5G
On June 6, 2019, the mainland issued 5G licenses, and China entered the first year of commercial use, while on October 31, 2019, the three major operators launched 5G packages.
According to the "2021 Communications Industry Statistical Communiqué" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in 2021, the mainland will complete a total investment of 405.8 billion yuan in telecommunications fixed assets, of which 5G investment will reach 184.9 billion yuan, accounting for 45.6% of the total investment, accounting for 8.9% of the increase compared with 2020.
