Is "Laughing proud of the jianghu" a sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slayer in the Heavens"? There's really no connection

Many people think that "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" is the sequel to "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", so when they see Jin Yongxin's "Nine Yins and Nine Yangs" and "Great Hero Wind Qingyang", many people think that Jin Yongxin has made up for the missing content between "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon" and "Laughing Pride of jianghu" through these novels, and what Mr. Jin Yong did not write. As everyone knows, the idea of thinking that "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" is the sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slaughtering in the Heavens" is very strange in itself, and it is even more wrong to forcibly connect the two with Jin Yongxin's new works. In fact, then again, Mr. Jin Yong is not like Mr. Liang Yusheng. When we look at Mr. Liang Yusheng's novels, there are several series, such as the "Tianshan Series", which begins to extend from the "Ping Trace Film" in the middle of the Ming Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, and many of the characters and stories in it are very closely related. But Mr. Jin Yong has not written such a novel, in addition to the "Shooting Eagle Trilogy", I am afraid that only the three novels "Book of Swords and Vengeance", "Flying Fox" and "Snow Mountain Flying Fox" are closely related to each other, and as for "Green Blood Sword" and "Deer DingJi", there is only a slight connection, and most of the character connections in it are only corner characters, and do not involve the protagonist. Therefore, in general, most of Mr. Jin Yong's novels are independent into a single section, and "Laughing proud of the jianghu" and "The Book of the Dragon Slayer in the Heavens" are also two novels with separate chapters, and there is no connection between them.

Is "Laughing proud of the jianghu" a sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slayer in the Heavens"? There's really no connection

If there is anything in common between the two novels of "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" and "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", it is nothing more than that there are several identical sects mentioned in it, such as Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, Kunlun, Huashan, and some people may explain the religion and the Sun and Moon God Sect, but about the Ming Sect and the Sun Moon God Sect Xia Kejun has already said in the previous article, the two sects should have no connection. And the same sects mentioned in it can only be said to mention the names. However, Shaolin and Wudang have always been popular terms in martial arts novels, which can be called the famous and upright sects in martial arts novels, as for the Emei school, the Emei school in "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon" was founded by Guo Xiang, which is a nun-based sect, but the Emei school in "Laughing at the Jianghu" only mentions in passing, and does not write what kind of sect it is, we can only know that it is a member of the famous and upright sect, and that is all. The same is true of the Kunlun Sect, and "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" does not specifically describe the Kunlun Sect. Oh, and also, both novels write about the Gang of Servants, but the Gang of Servants in "The Tale of the Dragon Slayer in the Heavens" is obviously inherited from the "Legend of the Eagle Shooter" and "The Hero of the Eagles", but the Gang of Servants in "Laughing at the Rivers and Lakes" is just a gang organization.

The only sect that has written more ink in both novels is the Huashan Sect, but if we carefully read it, we will find that the Huashan School in the two novels has many differences, and it is absolutely impossible to compare the two Huashan Schools like Jin Yongxin, so it is impossible to conclude what Feng Qingyang is Duan Ziyu's apprentice. In the previous article, Xia Kejun mentioned that Du Lonely sought defeat a martial arts master who was too older than Yang to know how many years old, and actually ran to "Nine Yin and Nine Yangs", a novel with a story background later than "Yi tian slaughtering dragons", to play soy sauce, passing on the lonely nine swords to Duan Ziyu, who can write this kind of bridge section, the brain hole is not something that a normal person can have. Since even this setting cannot be established, the setting of the so-called Huashan Sect cannot be established!

Is "Laughing proud of the jianghu" a sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slayer in the Heavens"? There's really no connection

It is very funny that if the Huashan Sect in the two novels is regarded as a sect of the same lineage, then why in the "Book of the Slaughter of the Dragon in the Heavens", the elder Huashan Erlao of the Huashan Sect uses the sword method, and in "Laughing proud of the jianghu", the martial arts of the Huashan Sect become the Huashan Sword Method and the Zixia Divine Gong. According to the reasoning that the Huashan school in the two novels is regarded as the same sect, it is impossible to explain the connection between Yue Su, Cai Zifeng and the Sunflower Treasure Book and Xian Yutong and huashan Erlao! Saying that "Laughing Pride Jianghu" is a sequel to "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", there is a very important inference that the story background of "Laughing Pride Jianghu" is the middle and late Ming Dynasty, we all know that the Ming Dynasty from the establishment of Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang to the Chongzhen Emperor Zhu Youjian hanged coal mountain, coexisted for 276 years, if "Laughing Pride Jianghu" is in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, then the 138 years after Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty in 1368 and later, that is to say, the story of "Xiao Ao Jianghu" occurred in 1506 or after. Looking at the matter of Yue Su and Cai Zifeng secretly reading the Sunflower Treasure Book in Southern Shaolin, it is said that Yue Su and Cai Zifeng are the founders of the Second Sect of Sword Qi in Huashan, so if Yue Su and Cai Zifeng are still alive, how old should they be in the context of "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu"? This has to start with the sword spectrum to ward off evil spirits. Because Lin Yuantu, the creator of the Evil Sword Spectrum, and Yue Su and Cai Zifeng were among their peers. And Lin Yuantu is Lin Pingzhi's great-grandfather, if Lin Yuantu is still alive, I am afraid that he will be nearly a hundred years old, and then consider Lin Yuantu's early years in Southern Shaolin, then Lin Yuantu should be one hundred and twenty or thirty years old if he is alive. According to this timeline, further down, we can conclude that the era of Yue Su and Cai Zifeng is probably the beginning of the founding of the Ming Dynasty, that is, the time of more than ten or twenty years after the death of Xian yutong. Could it be that for such a long time, the martial arts of the Huashan Sect had changed from using swords to using swords, and it was impossible.

Therefore, to say that "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" is a sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slaughtering in the Heavens" is not reasonable from the perspective of the inheritance of the Huashan Sect. Moreover, if the background of "Smiling Proud of the Jianghu" is the middle of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Sanfeng should still be alive, how to get those people to behave in the jianghu. Even if this is not the case, in the last chapter of the novel, it is mentioned that more than 80 years ago, the Sun Moon God Sect snatched Zhang Sanfeng's handwritten "Taijiquan Classic" and the True Martial Sword from the Hands of the Wudang Sect, and more than 80 years ago or the early Ming Dynasty, how could Zhang Sanfeng die, with Zhang Sanfeng there, who dared to go to the Wudang Sect to make any big moves, was not it self-insulting? As everyone knows, "Smiling Proud of the River" does not have a clear background of the times, which is to avoid this embarrassment! Judging from these kinds of details, the inference that "Smiling Proud of the River" is the sequel to "The Book of the Dragon Slaughtering in the Heavens" does not make sense.
