Arsenal allegedly contacted Sassuolo seeking to sign the team's centre-forward Gian Luka Scamaka, but it appears the players are more inclined to stay in Italy.
Although the contract only expires in 2025, there is already news that Skamaca will transfer this summer. As players tend to stay in Italy, Inter became his possible destination.
That being said, according to FCInter, Arsenal have contacted Sassuolo to try to persuade the 23-year-old to come to London.
Skamaka has made 28 Serie A appearances this season, contributing 13 goals and 1 assist, scoring goals against the strongest teams such as AC Milan, Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina.
He also made 3 appearances for Italy. Previously, he made 15, 11 and 4 appearances for the Italian U21, U19 and U18 youth teams, scoring 9, 8 and 3 goals respectively.
He is currently worth £27 million, but the cost of bringing him in could be higher than that, possibly around €40 million.
Arsenal are also said to be considering giving Lacazette a new 1-year contract that includes the option to extend it for another year.
