ESRB has released the rating information of the NS version of "Nintendo World Championship: NES", which is rated "E". Rating Description: This is a collection of 2D challenges and platformers where players can traverse various modes (ex: speedrun, survival). Some challenges involve reaching a specific location, while others push the player to defeat minor enemies or survive a short battle. Some games depict pixelated characters who attack enemies with small swords or arrows: enemies are usually stunned or disappear instantly.
"Nintendo World Championship" is the game used in 1990, Nintendo in order to promote its NES console and games, touring 29 cities in the United States to hold the largest game competition in history, the competition divided all the participants into three age groups, the competition was also divided into two rounds, and finally each age group had 30 participants from different cities to enter the final round.
The game takes a section of its three classic games – Super Mario, Rad Racer, and Tetris – and blends them together. The game was not previously released, and Nintendo only made 116 cartridges for the game. Of these, 90 were in grey shells as commemorative prizes and were given to the 90 winners who made it to the finals. That's why it's also called "one of the hardest video games to play".
