Dongfeng Fengshen released the latest sales data, sales of 15,712 new vehicles in March, up 123% year-on-year, up 37% month-on-month, and the cumulative sales volume in the first quarter was 45,890 units, up 165% year-on-year, completing 22.9% of the annual target and exceeding sales in the first half of 2021. It is worth mentioning that dongfeng fengshen's cumulative sales, production and revenue in the first quarter have reached the budget target of 200,000 vehicles for the whole year.
Judging from the previous data, Fengshen AX7 and Yixuan MAX are still the pillars of brand sales, with monthly sales remaining at about 5,000 vehicles and 6,000 vehicles respectively. Among them, the starting price of Yixuan MAX is only 93,900 yuan, and the whole series is equipped with 1.5T (fuel/hybrid), and the vehicle size is larger than that of Geely Binrui, which is similar in price, and even exceeds the more expensive Volkswagen Sagittarius.
At present, the dongfeng Fengshen plant has carried out the co-production of 6 models and the trial production of 2 models at the same time, with a stable production beat of 35 vehicles per hour and a daily output of more than 700 vehicles. In order to ensure a production capacity of 300,000 yuan, the Dongfeng Fengshen No. 2 factory located on Maple Road in Wuhan Development Zone will be restarted soon. The plant will renovate the existing production line and invest in more new equipment to ensure the smooth start of production of the model.
