According to the latest retail data released by the Passenger Car Association, we have compiled a list of mid-size sedan sales in the first quarter, with a total of 54 models on the list. Among them, the Passat successfully won the championship, with sales exceeding the 50,000 unit mark, and the rankings of Mercedes-Benz C-class, BMW 3 Series, and Hongqi H5 are also very eye-catching; In contrast, Accord and Camry did not enter the top five, selling more than 30,000 units, while Mingtu, which was at the end of the list, only sold single digits in three months.

The Passat won, the Camry was 8th, and the Wuling Starlight was in the top 10

Volkswagen Passat successfully occupied the first place on the list with a proud sales volume of 53,400 units, a strong lead of more than 10,000 units of the runner-up Mercedes-Benz C-class, and the third place Magotan sold 39,062 units.

The sales of the BMW 3 Series, Hongqi H5 and Model 3 are all above 32,000 units, and the sales of the two major Japanese evergreens Accord and Camry are 30,437 and 30,165 respectively, unfortunately missing the top five.

Among the top 10, the Audi A4L ranked slightly behind, ranking 9th with 27,085 units sold, and Mercedes-Benz and BMW significantly opened the gap. In addition, the affordable Wuling Starlight also successfully entered the top 10 team, with sales of 21,506 units, reflecting the new trend of consumer preferences.

The sales of 33 models were less than 10,000 units, and BYD's ranking was unexpected

Models such as Regal, Teana, Cadillac CT5, and Hongqi E-QM5 have also achieved good rankings, with sales above 17,000 units, and the sales of Zeekrypton 007 and Navy SL03 are 14,713 units and 13,992 units respectively. BYD's Seal DM-i sold only 11,694 units, ranking almost out of the top 20.

NIO ET5, Changan Qiyuan A06, Xpeng P7 and other models, the sales in the first quarter hovered around four or five thousand units, and the market demand was mediocre, showing obvious echelon differentiation compared with the top best-selling models.

As for the Jaguar XEL, Malibu XL, Hechuang A06, and Kia K5 Kaiku at the bottom of the list, they are facing more severe market challenges, with sales of 1,651 units, 1,369 units, 591 units, and 278 units respectively.

The last 3 are Volvo S60 new energy, DS9, and Mingtu, and their sales in the first quarter failed to reach 100 units.
