On March 30, Dyson officially announced a new product: the Air Purification Headset Dyson Zone, which is Dyson's first device in the wearable field, which integrates the two-in-one product of "headset" + "air purifier".
According to the official introduction, this air purification headset, built-in dual purification system, in both sides of the ear cups are equipped with compressors and air filters, in order to filter indoor and outdoor pollution and harmful gases, from the design point of view, there will be a mask covering the mouth and nose, through the purification treatment, for the user to bring clean airflow.
It is worth noting that this mask adopts a non-contact design, and from the official promotional video, there is a distance between the mask and the face, which should be for breathability considerations.
As far as the headphones are concerned, this new product adopts a head-mounted design, which supports active noise reduction, and the sound quality is positioned as high-end.
According to the introduction, Dyson's air purification headphones, which lasted six years of research and development, have carried out more than 500 iterations of the product model, and the design concept focuses on "mobile purification", advocating to provide users with clean air and pure sound quality anytime, anywhere.
The new product is expected to be officially launched in the fall of 2022, and the specific launch strategy may be announced in the coming months.
