Dyson Zone air purification headphones are developed based on Dyson's accumulation of airflow, filtration and motor technologies, as well as an understanding of indoor and outdoor air quality. A compressor in each of the earcups draws air into the double-layer filter and transports two purified streams of air through the contactless mask to the wearer's nose and mouth. The curved shape of the mask ensures that the purified airflow is close to the mouth and nose, avoiding dilution by external crosswinds as much as possible.
