Recently, the "Thinking about the Beauty of Nature - Liu Ziyu Works Exhibition", jointly sponsored by the Sino-Russian Center for the Development of Humanities Cooperation and Development and the Cultural and Arts Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held at the Culture and Art Center of the Russian National Academy of Sciences in Moscow, and the exhibition period ended April 5. Chinese painter Liu Ziyou was invited to teach Chinese painting in the "Master Class" of the Russian National Academy of Sciences. It is reported that this exhibition exhibits liu ziyu's recently created works, that is, using Chinese ink to depict the snowy landscapes and forests of Moscow, as well as flowers such as hollyhocks, cotton, dandelions, potatoes, and ground yellow, and the Russian audience at the scene took photos.
It is understood that Liu Ziyu, a Chinese painter who is doing postdoctoral research at the Strogalov State Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow, is committed to the comparative study of Chinese and Russian landscape paintings. He not only has a lot of creations in the field of Chinese painting, but also has many wonderful works in the field of oil painting. He continues the artistic spirit of Xu Beihong, Lin Fengmian and others a hundred years ago, and constantly explores on the road of integration of East and West.
It is reported that in Russia for more than 6 years, Liu Ziyu, as a member of the Russian Artists Association, has been invited to participate in the joint exhibitions of the Russian Artists Association for many times. This solo exhibition "Thinking about the Beauty of Nature" is the third time that a professional art institution of the Russian State has held a special solo exhibition for him after the Sologanov State Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow and the Magnitsit Museum in Russia.
Russian Air Force General Makaruk Mikhail Markovich commented on Liu Ziyu's work: "Everything is short-lived, but art is eternal. Mr. Liu Ziyu's works are really fascinating, and he has his own unique style. His exuberant creative ability is surprising, and I hope he will create more good works. ”

At the exhibition, Liu Ziyu introduced the historical origin of Chinese and Russian art to the Russian audience, analyzed the differences and characteristics of Chinese painting and oil painting, and conducted in-depth exchanges with colleagues in the Russian painting industry. Liu Ziyu said in his speech that I am willing to introduce Russian art to China, and I also want to introduce Chinese art to Russian audiences, and welcome Russian friends to have the opportunity to visit and exchange in China.
It is reported that Liu Ziyu's works have been collected by the "Russian State Museum of Oriental Art", the "Cultural and Art Center of the Russian National Academy of Sciences" and the "Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation and Development Center" for many times. As a professional institution for the collection and study of oriental art in Russia, the Russian State Museum of Oriental Art has collected more than 14,000 ancient Chinese cultural relics and Chinese paintings, including Wen Zhengming and Qiu Ying; the fine works of Qi Baishi, Fu Baoshi and others in modern times, and the works of Mr. Liu Ziyu have been collected by the Russian State Museum of Oriental Art, which has become a representative and certificate of Sino-Russian cultural exchanges in the current era. This outstanding Chinese artist is relying on his outstanding artistic achievements to influence the Russian painting community's understanding of Chinese ink painting and promote Chinese painting to the world.
On the opening day, the painter Liu Ziyu was invited to walk into the "Master Class" of the Russian National Academy of Sciences to teach Russian students to create Chinese ink paintings. Many of the trainees are well-known professional oil painters in Russia. Liu Ziyu from the picture composition, pen, ink adjustment, color grading and other aspects of in-depth explanation, on-site demonstration of Chinese painting skills, ink color on rice paper to produce a thick and light change, the students are very surprised, thank you very much Liu Ziyu led them to experience the beauty of oriental art.

The famous oil painter Munushkin was fascinated by the works of Mr. Liu Ziyu. In class, he saw Liu Ziyu demonstrating the drawing method of bees on the spot, and a few strokes jumped on the paper and were amazed. He said that it is a great thing that Chinese painters can use soft brushes freely. The oil painter took the initiative to present one of his own oil paintings to Mr. Liu Ziyu as a souvenir.
