It was previously revealed that Sony was planning to launch a subscription service similar to Microsoft XGP, code-named "Spartacus" (Spartacus).
According to the latest news from foreign media: this subscription service is expected to be released as early as next week.
The service will combine the existing PS Now with PS Plus. Players can choose a subscription from multiple gears that will include three levels of service: Essential, Extra, and Premium, priced at $10, $13, and $16, respectively.
The most expensive $16 slot adds PS NOW's streaming feature, the Classic Games library, and a new "Game Demo" feature that lets players try it out before purchasing a game. Current popular games and classic games of the old generation will be added to the service lineup, but Sony first-party games are not expected to join the service lineup on the first day of release.
