Anecdotes of Wang Yuanzheng and Yang Shen of Maozhou Zhizhou
Wang Yuanzheng (王元正), zi shunqing (字舜卿), no. Sanxi (号三溪), a native of Yuleishan (別署玉丽山人), a native of Shaanxi (present-day Zhouzhi, Shaanxi), a scholar of the sixth year of Ming Zhengde (1511), and a scholar of the same year as Yang Shen (Yang Sheng'an), was commissioned by Shu Jishi .) Emperor Wuzong of Ming was the tenth emperor of the Ming Dynasty, greedy and playful, often going out to play, ignoring the government, for which Wang Yuanzheng made "Song of the Five Sons" to satirize him, which shows that he has great righteousness and courage.
In the third year of Jiajing (1524), the imperial court broke out the "Great Ceremony Discussion" incident concerning the issue of imperial unification, and Wang Yuanzheng, Yang Shen and more than 200 other people died in the area from jinshui bridge in the Forbidden City to Zuoshunmen, shook the door and cried loudly, and the cries resounded throughout the palace, saying to themselves that "the state has been a hundred and fifty years of cultivation, and the battle festival is dead, and it is today." "Sixteen were killed by the rod. Wang Yuanzheng was beaten with Yang Shen for this incident, after which Wang Yuanzheng was demoted to Maozhou and Yang Shen was demoted to Yunnan.

Yang Shen's literary attainments are very high, and he is respected as the first of the three talents of the Ming Dynasty, and the well-known theme song of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" TV series "Rolling Yangtze River East Passing Water" is based on Yang Shen's words "Linjiang Xian , Rolling Yangtze River East Passing Water". And Wang Yuanzheng's talent was also affirmed by Yang Shen.
Yang Shen wrote in the poem "Hou Dynasty Jian Wang Shunqing" composed for Wang Yuanzheng: "Wenhua received Wu Ying, and the phoenix blew the chicken. Moon shaking tooth brand words, wind spread jade pendant sound. Tianxiang drifted to the left, and the palace leaked across the Western Qing. It's not a class of people, but a night stand. Describing Wang Yuanzheng as "Wu Ying" and their friendship as "night love", it can be seen that the relationship between the two is close.
Yang Shen wrote in his famous "Zhuma Tinghe and Wang Shunqing Boat Journey": "In the middle of the bright moon, I see the ships of the Yangtze River. The moonlight is like water, and the river is waveless. Color and sky. There is no smoke on both sides of the weeping yang, and the sand birds are alarmed in several places. The silk cable stopped and took the wind straight up to the Silver River. "It vividly reflects the like-minded travel of the two of them together." Because Wang Yuan was serving as the governor of Maozhou, Yang Shen also left an article entitled "Rebuilding the Zongqu Bridge" in Zongqu, Maoxian County, when he traveled to Maozhou.
Wang Yuanzheng is also very talented, and when he was in Maozhou Zhizhou, he majored in "Weimao Tongzhi". He has a study room at the foot of Yulei Mountain, and on the stone tablet there is an inscription of "Reading Place between Mountains and Rivers", which is still preserved in the Weizhou National Normal School. He wrote a poem "Guan Jiu Ding Shan": "The Nine Peaks are inserted into taiqing, and the Xirong barrier leans on the Great Wall." At four o'clock the snow looked up, and the thousands of miles came into view. The heavenly lotus hua dynasty northern emperor, the earth divided the foot of the cangsheng. I have come to sit and laugh infinitely, and I have to rely on the high hope of the emperor. ”

In the poem sent to Guo Fengxiang, a soldier who sent a poem, he wrote: "The heron scarf (shoe) learns to fly immortals, and the cold pond in May is a jade barrier." Wang Yuanzheng left not many poems in Maozhou, but now he has left the "Ode to Rebuilding Chang'an Fort" that he wrote for the repair of Chang'an Fort in Maozhou. Wang Yuanzheng also studied Jiajing's "General Chronicle of Sichuan" with Yang Shen and others, which shows the depth of his writing skills.
After Wang Yuanzheng's death, Yang Shen was deeply saddened, and wrote an altarpiece for him, "Tribute to Yulei Wang Shunqingwen", classifying his relationship with Wang Yuanzheng as "pity for the same disease and save each other with the same worries", lamenting that Wang Yuanzheng was similar to his own fate and that he was a confidant.
