Hello everyone! Today to introduce to you, Tang Dynasty cultural relics, "Dingyao White Glaze Box", 6.9 cm high, 9.8 cm caliber, foot diameter 5.4 cm.
The box is round, the upper and lower female mouth is buckled, straight wall, the top of the lid is raised, the abdomen is adducted, and the foot is circled. The tire wall is thick and the tire quality is hard. White glaze is applied inside and out, the glaze color is white, and the glaze is lustrous.
This box is a typical Tang Dynasty kiln product. Located in Quyang County, Hebei Province, the Dingyao kiln site began in the Tang Dynasty and ended in the Yuan Dynasty, lasting 600 to 700 years, and the products are especially famous for white porcelain.
Tang Dynasty porcelain boxes are mainly round, mostly plain surfaces, and in the late Tang Dynasty and five generations, the box surface is more carved with patterns, and the ware feet are gradually raised and skimmed.
