Last year, Ubisoft conducted a survey of the familiarity of Rainbow Six: Siege for mobile game players, and there were rumors that Rainbow Six: Siege would be available on mobile. From the outside, in Tencent's recent Q4 earnings call, it was once again hinted that the game will be released in 2023.
It is understood that Rainbow Six: Siege has been a huge success since its release in 2015, with Ubisoft announcing in December 2020 that there were already 70 million registered players across the platform. As a PVP paid game, the in-app purchase income of Rainbow Six: Siege is also quite considerable. Tencent's cooperation with Ubisoft has become closer and closer in recent years, and mobile games including IP such as Assassin's Creed and The Division are also rumored to be under development.
