IT Home learned that at 0:23 on October 16, 2021, the Long March 2 F Yao 13 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft was accurately ignited and launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center according to the scheduled time, and about 582 seconds later, the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft was successfully separated from the rocket and entered the predetermined orbit, successfully sending Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu 3 astronauts into space, the flight crew was in good condition, and the launch was a complete success.
During their time in orbit, the three astronauts completed two outgoing activities, conducted two "Tiangong Classroom" teaching activities, and spent the Spring Festival on the Chinese New Year on the China Space Station.
According to Zhou Jianping, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chief designer of China's manned space project, "This year, we will launch 2 space station experimental modules, 2 manned spacecraft, 2 cargo spacecraft, and then send 6 astronauts to the Chinese space station."
