[Aika Car Domestic New Car Original]
The Grecale, Maserati's new midsize SUV, which was scheduled to be released in November last year, was finally officially launched worldwide on the evening of the 22nd Beijing time. The new car has a rather fierce design, but also has a strong power that is very commensurate with the appearance - the high-end Trefeo model even got the "Poseidon" 3.0L twin-turbo engine from the MC20!

In terms of styling, Grecale's fierce front face can be extremely impressive at first glance, although the body size is significantly smaller than that of his brother Levante, but the huge "shark mouth" net does not seem to be scaled down at all, and the visual impact seems to be better than Levante.
The design of the headlights is in stark contrast to the Levante, instead of a narrow "squint", it is a pair of headlights with a more similar stylistic style to the MC20, and the position is also located on both sides of the engine canopy. The grille dimensions on both sides of the front bumper are also considerable.
The Grecale has a body size of 4859*1979*1659mm and a wheelbase of 2901mm, which has obvious advantages over competitor Porsche Macan.
Compared to the more ferocious and maverick front face, Grecale's tail design is closer to leviante, but the taillights are narrower than the latter. The exhaust from both sides is quite eye-catching, and considering Maserati's excellent reputation for sound, Grecale should not disappoint at this point.
In terms of interior, Grecale is basically consistent with the previously exposed interior spy photos, 12.3-inch full LCD instrument + upper and lower dual screen central control multimedia screen + through-channel air conditioning outlet, is a new highlight of Maserati's design in the interior. The upper 12.3-inch screen is responsible for navigation and entertainment functions, and the lower 8.8-inch screen is the air conditioning control screen. The three-spoke steering wheel is quite stout, and the large paddle shifters also make people look like they have the urge to drive passionately. In terms of materials, Grecale offers a wide range of options for logs, leathers and carbon fibers.
In terms of configuration, Grecale is equipped with the Italian national treasure audio brand - 21-channel Sonus Faber audio, Maserati VDCM (Vehicle Dynamic Control Module), MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant) system, head-up display. The Trefeo model also features air suspension (GT and Modena as an option) with a 6-speed height adjustable suspension, as well as Brembo brake calipers with front six-piston rear four-piston and a more passionate Corsa driving mode.
In terms of power, the Grecale offers different power options according to model differences, the GT and Modena are equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with mild hybrid technology, the GT model has a maximum power of 221kW (300 hp), a maximum torque of 450 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 5.6 seconds; the Modena model has a maximum power of 243kW (330 hp) and the maximum torque is also 450 Nm, 0-100 km/ The Trefeo model will be equipped with the MC20's Poseidon 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine, which has a maximum power of 390 kW (530 hp) and a maximum torque of 620 Nm; 0-100 km/h accelerates in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 285 km/h. The Grecale range is fully mated to zf's 8-speed automatic transmission.
The release of Grecale will obviously challenge the similar positioning of Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-PACE, and with Maserati's unique temperament and renewed interior design, coupled with its best at creating a sporty atmosphere and strong motivation, I believe that Gregale will capture a large number of Italian fans.
At the same time as the Gregare debuted, Maserati also released some information about the Forgole, a pure electric version of the Gregale. Forgole will feature a unique Rame Folgore paint and a 105kWh battery pack with a maximum torque of 800Nm.
