The front face of the new car adopts a straight waterfall-style mid-mesh design, and its 14 vertical trim strips reproduce the classic design of the 1952 300 SL, with an exaggerated deflector shape, further demonstrating the excellent aerodynamic design, and the headlights on both sides also use Mercedes-Benz's iconic digital headlights.
In the rear part of the car, the new car adopts a bilateral four-way exhaust shape and dynamic electric tail, plus slender taillights on both sides, and adopts a fish-like scale design on the internal structure, which echoes the new S-class.
The interior of the new car uses the new S-Class and C-class design concepts, and does not use the 56-inch large screen design of the EQ series. The car will be equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster + 11.9-inch infotainment system, and will also have a Burmester sound system and Nappa leather seats.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the new car is equipped with the second generation of MBUX infotainment interaction system and has the AMG TRACK PACE virtual track engineer in-vehicle application. The central control screen also supports 12-32 degree angle adjustment function, which can effectively avoid screen reflection caused by open top.
The seats have a 2+2 layout to meet the needs of daily travel, while the rear will accommodate a soft-top convertible mechanism. In addition, when the speed is below 60 km / h, the canopy with Z-shaped foldable fabric can be opened and closed in 15 seconds, and is equipped with airscarf head and neck heating system to further enhance passenger comfort.
In the transmission section, both models are matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission and offer six driving modes, including the "track" mode. In the future, the new car will also be available in plug-in hybrid models, which are expected to be officially launched in 2023.
