According to the Tianyancha App, recently, Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. applied for a patent for "virtual building generation method, device, equipment and computer-readable storage medium".
The abstract shows that the method is applied to the field of automatic driving, including: obtaining satellite images to determine the attribute information of satellite building instances; obtaining corresponding map data to determine map building vector data; determining the corresponding attribute information of each map building vector data based on each satellite building instance and attribute information; obtaining street view images, determining the texture information of each map building vector data, and generating a three-dimensional building model, texture mapping, and obtaining multiple target virtual buildings. Through this application, it is possible to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the generation of virtual buildings.
