On March 21, Jimu News reporters learned from Tai'an Central Hospital that on the 20th, a pregnant woman from Daiyue District successfully gave birth to quintuplets in the hospital, the largest of which was a girl and the other four were boys. The staff said that the five children, who were born prematurely at 7 months, are currently being hospitalized for observation, and the heaviest weighs 1.4 kilograms and the lightest ones are only 1.14 kilograms.

On the morning of March 21, Jimu News reporter contacted the father of the quintuplets, Mr. Cheng, who said that he was in the hospital and the doctor had just told him that his wife could be transferred out of the intensive care unit tomorrow. But at present, the children are still under surveillance and observation, all of them are using ventilators, and he has not seen it yet.

Mr. Cheng introduced that when his wife was more than two months pregnant, it was already found that it was quintuplets. Worried that his wife's body could not bear it, he took her to the Shandong Provincial Hospital in Jinan for examination, and all the indicators were normal, and the doctor suggested continuing to observe. "When the child is small, he can still provide nutrition at home, but after he grows older, he can't provide it." Mr. Cheng said. On February 24, the wife was admitted to Tai'an Central Hospital, relied on nutritional injections to maintain the child's nutrition supply, and successfully gave birth to five children by caesarean section on the 20th.
