In the Kunming World Expo Park Bonsai Garden, a "Spring Equinox and Skirt Feast of the Twenty-Four Solar Terms of Traditional Chinese Culture" was created. Three or five friends, dressed in Tang costumes, a cup of tea, a fruit feast, in the spring breeze, in the green field, pray to stay until the epidemic disperses and blossoms, meet in the spring city of a hundred flowers.
Spring Equinox Skirt Feast
The "Spring Feast" and the "Skirt Feast" are two kinds of wild dinner activities often held by the ladies of the capital from the first year of the Tang Dynasty to the Tianbao period. According to the "Kaiyuan Tianbao Testament and Exploring Spring", the banquet is held between the two solar terms of "Li Chun" and "Rain" every year. At this time, the ice and snow melted, everything recovered, and the women met together to bring the tabernacle, tableware, wine utensils and food to the suburbs for leisure and feasting. Because this kind of banquet is carried out in the skirt tent, it is also called "skirt banquet".
The feast of the skirt is of course the first step. On a spring day when everything is racing, everyone meets outdoors to breathe fresh air and watch the spring colors of the garden. Then set up a tent, set up wine dishes, on the one hand to order the spring (in the Tang Dynasty, "spring" in addition to referring to spring, but also means wine, wine tasting is also for spring), on the other hand around the "spring" word guessing riddles, telling stories, poetry and sentences, fully express their pursuit of spring and good wishes, until the sunset with drunken support.
"Fighting Flowers" is an important activity of the skirt feast. The so-called "fighting flowers" means that young women wear flowers when they visit the garden, compete for beauty, and compete with who wears expensive and beautiful flowers, "competing for thousands of hands to climb willow silk, and inserting thousands of safflowers between them."
After visiting the garden, they used the grass as a mat, inserted bamboo poles around them, and then linked their skirts and hung them on the bamboo poles, set up a temporary drinking tent, and set up a feast. In order to make the feast more interesting, they also studied the color, aroma, taste and type of dishes, and pursued innovation in tableware, wine utensils and food boxes. During the Tang Dynasty, whenever they went to the skirt banquet, groups of women shuttled between the Qujiang gardens, and the music was rippling, and the grandeur was unprecedented.

The event will explore the connotation of excellent traditional culture by tasting the beauty of the twenty-four solar terms and displaying the charm of traditional culture, so that the excellent traditional culture can truly be brought alive and passed on.
