The site of the Ming Dynasty tomb excavation in Luoyang
As the saying goes, "born in Suzhou and Hangzhou, buried in Beiqi". As the ultimate belonging of thousands of people after death, Mount Wu is the sustenance of people's "souls" after death, and the tomb forest constitutes the unique historical and cultural landscape of Mount Yi. The Ming Nanjing Ministry of Works Shangshu Shen Yingshi Family Cemetery, located in the southern foothills of the Sui and Tang Dynasties Luoyang City, was discovered and excavated in 2012.
The Shen Yingshi family cemetery is located opposite to the Sui Tang Luoyang City and the Jin Yuanming Luoyang City (Luoyang Old City).
When Shen Yingshi was in charge, there was no history. There is a person with the same name in the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", but the age of his activities is not the same person as the tomb owner Shen Yingshi. And the "Henan Tongzhi" volume 59: "Shen Yingshi, Zi Yi, Henan Weiren, Jiajing Gengji Jinshi." Preparing troops on the sea, Zhao Wenhua, a private of Yan Song, was the governor, invaded the army and stored hundreds of thousands, and was defeated, Song instructed leniency, should be investigated and reported at the time to do his best, touched Song's anger, moved to Liangzhou to consult, could anticipate the enemy first, the enemy did not dare to commit crimes, both Fu Xixia, Yu Ao Kudong, Xiao Songshan, Bai Chengzi, repeatedly with good news, tired of the household department waiter. When Zhang Lived in the right country, he did not attach himself to himself at the right time, moved to the Southern Ministry of Works Shangshu, and begged for more than one year. The Henan Tongzhi vol. 49: "Shen Yingshi, Shangshu of the Ministry of Works in Nanjing, was buried at the foot of the North Mountain ten miles north of fucheng. "The investigation of Shen Yingshi's deeds and burial site contained in the "Henan Tongzhi" coincides with the content and location of the excavated epitaph, so the cemetery should be the family cemetery of Shangshu Shen Yingshi of the Ministry of Works of Nanjing.
The Shen Yingshi family cemetery consists of five tombs, with a regular layout, all of which are jointly buried by two or three couples, spanning from the Xinhai year of Ming Jiajing (1551) to the Chongzhen period (1628-1644), with at least four generations of 11 members of the Shen family buried.
