Does the Security Council want to "change the sky"? Ukraine proposed the expulsion of the Russian representative, and Japan took the opportunity to demand regularity

The United Nations is an international organization with a high authority in the international community, and because the permanent members have a veto, many countries want to be one of them. The current five permanent members are China, Russia, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Does the Security Council want to "change the sky"? Ukraine proposed the expulsion of the Russian representative, and Japan took the opportunity to demand regularity

At the time of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Ukraine has repeatedly made requests to the United Nations, hoping that relevant organizations can remove Russia's permanent membership and plan to submit draft resolutions to the Security Council. Ukraine's move is tantamount to hitting a pebble, and for Russia, which has a veto, the draft will not pass the Security Council vote.

Japan tries to take advantage of the chaos to "ascend to power"

Although we can foresee the failure of the Ukrainian draft, we cannot predict Japan's wolf ambitions. According to media reports, Japanese Foreign Minister Lin Fangzheng said in an interview with reporters recently that Japan is currently calling for reform of the United Nations and hopes that Japan can become a permanent member.

In the interview, Lin Fangzheng is trying to win support by condemning Russia, saying that Russia's special military operations against Ukraine are not reasonable. Obviously, Lin Fangzheng's words are hinting at everyone inside and outside that Russia's move is "immoral" and it is not appropriate to continue to "occupy" the position of a permanent member.

Japan has not publicly expressed its ambitions before, but now it is unwilling to continue to hide, blatantly expressing its desire to ascend to the throne. It is understood that in order to circumvent Russia's veto power, the United States, Ukraine and other countries have previously called on the United Nations to convene an emergency meeting, and strongly condemned Russia's "deliberate" act of provoking war at the meeting, and finally passed a resolution against Russia.

The probability of Japan succeeding in power is not high

However, this resolution is not as coercively binding on individual countries as the Security Council resolution, so Russia will not be affected. In this case, Ukraine simply cannot deprive Russia of its veto. Ukraine must calm down and then negotiate with Russia on the conflict between the two countries before it can resolve the matter satisfactorily. For Ukraine, the sooner negotiations take place, the better. Affected by the war, Ukraine's major cities are currently seriously damaged, and if reconciliation is not reached as soon as possible, Ukraine will face more losses.

In fact, Japan has always had the idea of becoming a permanent member of the Security Council, and this time it is just a matter of taking advantage of the fire. Japan knows that it will not be able to rise to power so easily, so it has repeatedly called for reform of the Security Council. There are often countries that encourage the reform of the Security Council, but few countries truly understand the United Nations and the formation of the Security Council. According to relevant information, it is not the United Nations that gives the five permanent members one veto power, but the five permanent members give the United Nations power and prestige.
