Recently, Changan Mazda announced that Mr. Sumioka Kei will become the president of Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. After the successful completion of his three-year term, Mr. Toshi Nakajima, the former president of the Company, officially stepped down.
Sumioka joined Mazda Motors Corporation in 1992. Since 2014, Sumioka has served as Director of the Second Business Department of China, Director, Executive Vice President and CFO of Mazda (China) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., Director of the China Commerce Promotion Department, and Head of the China Business Headquarters. During his time in charge of China affairs at the headquarters, Sumioka Jing promoted the steady and long-term development of the Mazda brand in China, and accumulated rich marketing experience and deep understanding of the Chinese automotive market.
Last year, Changan Mazda promoted the completion of the integration of the two horses, and the Mazda brand opened a new year. By integrating Mazda's dealer network in China and comprehensively upgrading service standards, the new Changan Mazda enhances the value competitiveness of the whole product lineage.
