When it comes to landscape painting, the mainstream of the last century is to restore the tradition of "teacher creation" with the help of realism, and reverse the problem of the emptiness of the eight strands of landscape painting in the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty.
Today's painters, on the other hand, have used the spiritual tradition of modern Renaissance Chinese landscape painting that attaches importance to the subjective heart to get rid of the limitations of realistic thinking. These painters, from the "post-40s" to the "post-80s", have emerged many famous artists and rookies. Their common feature is that they have opened up the spiritual field of landscape painting in different ways, enriching the artistic language that embodies fresh visual experience. Heilongjiang painter Han Hao is a rookie among the "post-80s" landscape painters.
Han Hao: Born in Harbin in 1982. In 2001, he was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (majoring in landscape painting in Jia Youfu's studio), and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree. In 2005, he was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (professor Yao Mingjing graduated from the landscape painting graduate school), and graduated in 2008 with a master's degree, under the supervision of Professor Yao Mingjing. In 2008, he was admitted to the Graduate School of the China Academy of Arts (a doctoral student in fine arts of Professor Lu Yushun), and graduated in 2011 with a doctorate degree under the supervision of Professor Lu Yushun. In the same year, he was assigned to the Fine Arts Research Institute of the China Academy of Arts. He joined the China Artists Association in 2010 and is now an assistant researcher at the China Academy of Arts. Over the years, he has participated in many national art exhibitions and foreign exhibitions, and won many awards. Among them, the 11th National Art Exhibition, the 12th National Art Exhibition, and the 4th and 5th National Youth Chinese Painting Exhibitions were all selected. He has published many albums, monographs and papers in national publishing houses and engravings.

Born in the middle of the White Mountains and black waters, Han Hao studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of Arts in Beijing from undergraduate to doctoral students. He studied under Jia Youfu, Yao Mingjing and Lu Yushun, who attach importance to the spirituality of landscape painting and have their own achievements. He was quiet and quiet, sensitive and thoughtful, not only laid a good foundation for transformational copying and creative sketching, but also worked hard to learn theory, think deeply, and summarize the experience of artistic innovation in the comparison of ancient and modern Chinese and Western connections.
His early works, one is creative sketching, such as "Impression of Menjiahe", the other is Zen landscape, such as "Sunset evening light sitting and forgetting", the paintings are very good, but there are still traces of teacher inheritance. Since 2010, while creating interesting and poetic landscapes, he has painted the "Taoyuan Fairy Dream".
His "Fairy Dream" is not a real landscape, but a dream full of childlike fun. The Taoyuan scene in the dream, as if it were real, seems not to be in a time and space, but in the connection and reflection of "step by step", from which you can see the mountainous countryside far away from the world, the flowers and trees, the delicious herbs, the colorful fall, the wooden house Banqiao, and the lotus pond flower lantern.
The switching and connection of different scenes depends on the flowers and rain in the clouds and the flight of birds; the long corridors on the ground, the birds roosting and flowering; the wooden boats in the water and the flickering of lotus lights. The carefree painting shows people sitting or standing, and free spirit monkeys and fairy deer appear from time to time. Distant mountains and waters, flowers, trees, birds and beasts are bathed in peaceful light.
Han Hao's "Immortal Dream", inheriting the tradition of "seizing the creation" called by Huang Binhong, has created a whimsical art world, which not only poetically expresses the innocence in the dream, but also embodies the subtle philosophy, although it is more vague, but the image is greater than the thought, and it is not difficult for the careful to generalize.
The spirituality of landscapes takes space as the form of existence, and schemas and pen and ink as the means of display. The space, pattern and pen and ink of landscape painting not only embody the side of artistic law, which needs to be inherited, but also cannot but adapt to the expansion of the aesthetic field and the richness of visual experience, and innovate.

Han Hao is also an introverted and taciturn painter, he is my first doctoral student, with the rare practical diligence of youth, but also has a seemingly disproportionate smile. If you don't know him well, it's hard to imagine his songs, and his dances can be as lyrical and contagious as his paintings. It seems that art is really a wonderful portal that allows us to get closer to a person more comprehensively and truly.
Compared with many painters who have studied painting since childhood, Han Hao's time to study calligraphy and painting is not the most advantageous, but he works hard, has good understanding, and is good at absorbing, thinking, summarizing and learning from teachers and the outside world to supplement or enrich the factors of his own creation, for example, in his landscape paintings, we can see that he has absorbed some factors of me and Yao Mingjing (Han Hao's master tutor) according to his own expression needs, and combined with some of his own characteristics and his own aesthetic ideals, he has carried out some refinement and deformation. Although Han Hao is in the process of maturing, he has begun to present a refreshing and fresh style with vitality and vitality.
In addition to the study and absorption of brushwork skills, Han Hao also consciously learns and absorbs the "sitting and forgetting" in Yao Mingjing's works, consciously learns and absorbs the "fun" in my works, and tries to find a certain point of convergence between the two, this kind of learning, refining and trying from the essence of art is undoubtedly beneficial to Han Hao, coupled with his talented childlike heart and curiosity and sensitivity, his paintings can "originate from the heart and want to form traces", which is very subjective.
To a certain extent, the concept of visual habitual space and logic is broken, and the scenes in the painting are freed from the original constraints of the earth, and walk, fly and stop at will completely according to the painter's own wishes. Between people and animals, scenery and animals, people and scenery, it is also the scene of their own flowers blooming, their own flowers falling, each adapting to their own suitability, a scene of flying fish and fish leaping, full of vitality, and this scene is opposite to the quiet mountain forest, the silent people and the quiet stupa, attracting people to enter.
