A few days ago, Lamborghini announced specific data for the 2021 fiscal year. Its turnover reached 1.95 billion euros, an increase of 19% year-on-year, and its operating income was 393 million euros, an increase of 49% year-on-year.
The information shows that Lamborghini set new historical records in terms of sales, turnover and profitability in 2021. Compared to 2018, the operating margin doubled to 20.2%. In 2022, Lamborghini's profitability is expected to be between 22% and 25%.
In 2021, Lamborghini delivered 8,405 new vehicles worldwide, an increase of 13% year-on-year. Among them, the United States increased by 14%, Asia-Pacific increased by 14%, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa increased by 12%, and these three regions accounted for 34%, 27% and 39% of global sales.
Specific to the Chinese market, Lamborghini delivered 935 new cars, an increase of 55% year-on-year, ranking second in the single market. The U.S. market remains at the top of the list, delivering 2,472 new vehicles, up 11 percent year-over-year. In terms of models, the Lamborghini Urus sold 5021 units, followed by The Huracán with 2586 units and the Aventador with 798 units.
