IT House March 17 news, AMD today officially released the FSR 2.0 super-resolution technology, a great step forward from FSR 1.0.
FSR 2.0 will change from spatial scaling to a new generation of temporal scaling, providing better image quality than the original resolution, while also greatly improving anti-aliasing. Officially, FSR 2.0 provides significantly higher image quality than FSR 1.0 at all quality mode presets and screen resolutions.
Unlike NVIDIA DLSS and Intel XeSS, AMD FSR 2.0 still does not employ machine learning algorithms, which means it is compatible with a wider range of graphics cards, even non-AMD graphics.
IT House learned that AMD took the game "Death Loop" as an example, FSR 2.0 in quality mode, the picture quality is almost the same as the native 4K.
In performance mode, FSR 2.0 is also better than FSR 1.0.
IT House understands that FSR 2.0 will go live in the second quarter of 2022 and That Death Loop will be one of the first games to be supported.
Previously exposed data shows that the 4K light of "Death Loop" is 53fps, and after starting the performance mode of FSR 2.0, the frame count can reach 101fps.
