Indolebufen has more effects, which can reversibly inhibit cyclooxygenase, and also inhibits platelet aggregation induced by adenosine diphosphate (ADP), epinephrine and platelet activating factor, collagen and arachidonic acid.
Number of medications: Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelets, just take once a day. Indolbufen reversibly inhibits platelets and requires taking the drug 2 times a day.
Adverse effects: Both increase the risk of bleeding. Aspirin affects the secretion of prostaglandins in the human body and can easily lead to damage to the digestive tract. Indolebufen has little effect on the secretion of prostaglandins and less often causes gastrointestinal symptoms. Even if there is an adverse reaction, it is very mild.
Cost-effective: Aspirin is an old drug that has been on the market for more than a hundred years, and the daily drug price is a few cents. Indobufen is a new drug, the price is more expensive, and the daily drug price is more than ten yuan.
Application: It takes 7 days after aspirin is discontinued for platelet function to fully recover, making it more suitable for daily long-term prevention of thrombosis. Platelets can return to normal 24 hours after indobufen is discontinued, making it more suitable for short-term antiplatelet therapy in patients who require surgery.
Second, the difference between antiplatelet drugs and warfarin
Aspirin, indolebufen, and warfarin all affect the body's coagulation function, but the mechanism is different. Among them, aspirin and indolebufen are antiplatelet drugs, inhibiting the aggregation function of platelets. Warfarin, on the other hand, is an anticoagulant drug that inhibits the function of coagulation factors.
Antiplatelet drugs are used to prevent cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction and other diseases caused by atherosclerosis. Anticoagulant drugs are mainly used to prevent cerebral infarction caused by atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism caused by venous thrombosis of the lower extremities and other diseases.
