It turned out that I was working in the unit, although the work was busy but the life was full, since there was no class, all of a sudden life lost its regularity, very unaccustomed. I usually don't play cards, rarely make friends, idle will inevitably feel empty, fidgety, always feel to find some hobbies to enrich their lives.

After understanding, I heard that the Literature Class of Yueyang University for the Elderly, founded by the national first-class writer Zhang Buzhen, had a good response and was an ideal home for elderly literature lovers.

When I first arrived, I was not familiar with life, and I didn't know anyone. During class, I came to the classroom early and sat timidly by the window at the end of the classroom, like a schoolboy, cautiously.

In those days, the reading conditions were poor, and the school often organized students to work in the mountains, chop firewood, beat chestnuts, pick tea leaves, and squeeze out class time. The teacher's cultural level is not high, and the simple Hanyu Pinyin will not be taught. Entering junior high school, the teachers were still the original primary school teachers who were not highly educated, and it coincided with the era when Zhang Tiesheng handed in the white paper for the exam, and he dropped out of school without learning anything. After enlisting in the army, once, the company commander arranged for me and the writing training plan, and the two of us pondered for half a day, not knowing how to write. Later, educated comrades-in-arms were successively admitted to military academies and promoted to lead soldiers; after the demobilization work, those colleagues who were engaged in technical work designed projects and drew drawings, and colleagues in the office wrote summary reports and issued documents. I fell in love with reading books and newspapers, and I slowly became interested in words.

Now, I sit back in the classroom, as if I have entered the university, and I am very happy. I was hungry for knowledge and listened intently to the lectures, for fear of missing the content of the teacher's lectures. I remember that the first time I listened to Teacher Jiang Zhengya's class was to learn the five-character writing tips of "Guanyin Bodhisattva" by Professor Liu Wendian of Tsinghua University and the appreciation of the ancient text of "Three Words and Two Beats". He is very dedicated, the courseware is fully prepared and solid, he can sit in a large classroom of fifty or sixty people, he does not use a microphone, his voice is loud, and he is full of energy when he talks about the class. He is very knowledgeable, knowledgeable about the past and the present, talking about classical literature endlessly, painting colorfully, I am full of respect for him, and I deeply like Teacher Jiang's class. Although the "ink" in my stomach is pitiful, listening to classical literature classes is like going straight from elementary school to university, but I am determined to learn from Mr. Jiang and my classmates.

At night, I sat on the couch, thinking back to the classical literature course taught by the teacher during the day, recalling the strange faces in the class, I picked up my mobile phone, opened the Class WeChat group, and recognized them one by one, looking for any friends I knew. When I read the article of the online name Jinsong Song, I saw the "Ishigyu family", and I was shocked, because my brother-in-law is the Ishigyu family. Immediately added the WeChat of The Song of Jinsong. His name is Liu Pingguo, he is warm and friendly, he can write articles and gives me a lot of encouragement. Slowly, I got to know a lot of students in the literature class, and my heart was warm, and I increased my confidence in learning.

In the past, I read articles by famous writers such as Zhang Buzhen, Mei Shi, and Peng Jianming in books and newspapers, and I heard their names for a long time and did not see them. Teacher Zhang Buzhen's book "Soul Lineage Qingshan" deeply attracted me and has always been imprinted in my mind. After entering the literature class, I was very honored to meet many writers, listened to the literature lessons taught to us by Mr. Zhang Buzhen and Mr. Mei Shi, had the honor to participate in the new book launch of Mr. Peng Jianming, and had the honor of getting the personal works signed by these three writers. Teacher Zhang Buzhen attaches great importance to the cultural construction of Yueyang, and once, Teacher Zhang Buzhen came to the literature class to guide and visit everyone, and I was very honored to sit at the same table with him. I thought that he was a famous writer of the national level, a big name, and published a lot of works, which should be a bit of a shelf. However, I did not expect that he was a simple and kind teacher, highly respected, without a sense of distance, kind and easy-going to people. He is a person I admire, I asked Teacher Zhang Buzhen to sign a souvenir, seeing the three words "Zhang Buzhen", I was like a treasure. After that, we became friends, and when we met, I called him Bu Lao, and he called me by my name, which was natural and warm. At one point, he called me personally and encouraged me to write an article. I was flattered, very touched, and inspired.

When I first entered the literature class "Chao Hua Xi Shi" group, I found that this group hid dragons and crouching tigers, talents were abundant, and there were poetry and prose reading every day, and I, a primary school student, hid in the corner, did not dare to say a word, and could only quietly study the articles of teachers and alumni. With the passage of time, I gradually became familiar with the teachers and alumni, and through their enthusiastic help and patient guidance, I gradually integrated into this harmonious and friendly big family. I grew bold enough to learn to write articles, learn to write reviews, and sometimes interact with everyone in the group. The wonderful articles in the group are accompanied by funny comments, especially the comments of Teacher Kuang Baichun and Teacher Hu Guixiang, which are very poetic and picturesque, and the literary style is soaring, which adds a lot of color to the author's articles, and is a rich spiritual and cultural feast.

Group leader Tan Xiangyue, vice chairman of the school committee Shi Jianguo, class committee member Du Mingsheng, Yang Xixia, He Xialing, they used their own practical actions to make unknown and selfless dedication to the literature class. They are particularly affinity, like magnets, to "suck" the whole class together. The class committee is a class committee that thinks about problems and uses its brains, is good at discovering talents, is good at mobilizing everyone's enthusiasm, encourages students who will lecture in the literature class, gives full play to their strengths, carries out literary salon activities in the literature class, and carries out the study activities of the literature class with great sound and color, and praises are overwhelming. According to the characteristics of students of different ages and different levels of education in the class, encourage and stimulate their enthusiasm for creation, students in the class group, after publishing articles, everyone learns from each other to encourage, actively comment on the article, set off a wave of learning. Every semester, the class committee carefully studies, fully considers, organizes the literature class to go out to collect wind activities, let everyone personally feel the earth-shaking and gratifying changes that have taken place in the motherland, praise the new era, be good at discovering beauty, spread beauty, vigorously carry forward the positive energy of society, and write many touching and profound works with their wonderful writing. At the same time, at the end of the term, the class committee carefully organized and planned, teachers and students participated together, gave full play to everyone's special skills of blowing, pulling, talking, singing and dancing, and performed a colorful, vivid and lively wonderful program, so that the "morning flowers" bloomed brightly and dazzlingly, and produced fruitful results. The literature class has made positive contributions to the cultural construction of Yueyang. Therefore, the literature class of Yueyang University for the Aged won the honorary title of "Excellent Learning Team of Hunan Province" issued by the Department of Education of Hunan Province in 2020.

The party and the government attach great importance to the work of caring for the elderly, and establish the Yueyang University for the Elderly, which provides a good venue and a good environment for the majority of elderly friends to study and exercise, so that the elderly friends can have fun and give play to their residual heat. Some people say: Eighty years old, xuelangzhong. I said: Just to make up for the regret of our little reading when we were young, it seems to be back to the era of youthful rejuvenation. In the literature class, I deeply felt the happiness brought by the strong cultural influence, and I deeply felt the enthusiastic help of teachers and classmates, which made my zero-based writing level significantly improved. Since entering the literature class, I have published 18 articles on the online literature platform of Xiaoxiang Original Home, which has been praised and encouraged by relatives and friends. I am grateful to my teachers and classmates, I love the literature class, and the university for the elderly is our happy home.
