Yu refers to the dog on the shore and proudly chants, "The dog chews on the (monk's) bone on the river."
The Buddha Seal knew that Dongpo was cursing himself, so he casually threw a paper fan inscribed with Su Dongpo's poems into the river far away, and replied with the sentence "Water Flow Dongpo Poem (Corpse)".

2. As opposed to "bird"
Once, Su Dongpo said to the Buddha Seal:
"Poets in ancient times often used 'monks' versus 'birds'. For example, 'Birds stay in the tree by the pool, and the monk knocks on the door under the moon.' The ancients used 'monk' to 'bird', which is really a perfect match, absolutely clever. ”
"Bird" is often used in everyday slang to curse people. Su Dongpo deliberately used this to tease the Buddha Seal. But The Buddha Seal was not angry, but said very calmly: "The Dongpo resident is right in saying this, and now the old monk is facing the Dongpo resident." Dongpo listened and was dumbfounded.
3. A bunch of cattle
Su Dongpo often talked about Zen with the Buddha Seal, and he asked, "Master, do you know what you look like in my eyes?" The Buddha Seal shook his head, and Dongpo said, "In my eyes, you are a pile of cow dung." ”
He thought that this remark would anger him, but the Buddha Seal smiled slightly: "But in my eyes, the layman is a lotus flower." ”
Dongpo was smug and quickly went home to inform Su Xiaomei. But the little sister laughed: "Brother has ever heard that the Buddhist family has clouds 'in the heart is there in the eyes', you see him as a pile of cow dung, indicating that your heart is like cow dung; he sees that you are a lotus, because his heart is like a lotus." Su Dongpo was ashamed and embarrassed on the spot.
4. Cross the river with a fart
However, Su Dongpo did not deliberately hollow out his mind to make the Buddha seal every time, for example, once, he wrote a poem and sincerely hoped to get the guidance of the Buddha seal, so he sent someone to send it over. Shi Yun "Audit the first day in the sky, and the light shines in a thousand." The eight winds could not move, sitting on the purple lotus. The Buddha seal looked at it and raised the pen to approve the word "fart".
When Su Dongpo saw this, he was furious and immediately went to him to theorize: "If the Zen master doesn't praise my poems, why curse people?" ”
The Buddha Seal said casually, "How did I curse you?" Su Dongpo pointed to the word "fart" on the poem to show him, but he looked up at the sky and laughed: "Isn't the layman a poet who can't blow the eight winds'?" How can you 'cross the river in a fart'? "The east slope ran away in gray.
Su Dongpo, who is admired by thousands of people, is knowledgeable and full of scriptures, but he can only bow down in front of the high monk Buddha seal.
