Following the previous spy photos and official pictures of the new Hongqi H5, Volkswagen Kanche recently obtained information about the power of the new car from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new car will be available in three power options, including 1.5T, 2.0T and 1.5T hybrid.
Previously, Hongqi official has released the official map of the new Hongqi H5, the overall shape of the new car is very similar to the Hongqi H9, still using a straight waterfall grille and split headlights design, the front face and with a large area of chrome decoration, it looks imposing.
In terms of tail, the new car adopts the popular through-type taillight group, and is equipped with small tail wings and double-sided square exhaust pipes, which makes the sense of movement more prominent. In terms of size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4988/1875/1470mm, and a wheelbase of 2920mm, making it a veritable mid-size car.
In the power part, the new Hongqi H5 will be equipped with three kinds of power: 1.5T, 2.0T and 1.5T hybrid, corresponding to the tail labels of "35TD", "40TD" and "HEV". It is reported that the 1.5T model will continue to match the 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission; the 2.0T model will match the 8-speed manual transmission.
