Massive Entertainment Studios in Malmö, a major Swedish industrial city, is the developer of the Ubisoft Division series, Avatar: Borders of Pandora and the recently released new Star Wars game. David Polfeldt, former managing director of Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment studio, has submitted his resignation and will leave the company permanently.

According to a new profile posted on Nathan Brown's Hit Points, the veteran, who has been with the studio for 17 years, submitted his resignation earlier this year and is currently fulfilling his six-month notice period.
Polfeldt announced the decision to resign as general manager last year, originally planning to return to a new strategic role after a six-month sabbatical. However, according to reports, he now plans to "go with the wind" and does not intend to return.
