The first major event in the digital world after the end of the year was the release of SAMSUNG's Galaxy S22 series flagship mobile phone, including S22 Ultra, S22+, S22 three models. The battery capacity of the three mobile phones is 5000mAh, 4500mAh, 3700mAh, and the charging power, S22 Ultra, S22+ support 45W super accelerated charging, and S22 supports 25W super accelerated charging.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series mobile phones are still not equipped with chargers as standard, and users in need can only purchase them separately. The charging head network has entered the new Samsung Galaxy S22+ machine, and because the charger is not included, the overall thickness of the box is reduced by nearly half compared with the past.
In addition, the charging head network went to the Samsung Jingdong self-operated flagship store to buy the standard 45W and 25W fast charger Guoxing version of this series of mobile phones, priced at 249 yuan and 159 yuan respectively, which is not cheap. It does feel strange to operate at a time, and it is no wonder that this "environmental protection" strategy is still controversial.
In this issue, I will first share with you the disassembly of the S22 standard 25W fast charge, and let's take a look at how the charger material works.
First, Samsung S22 original 25W fast charging appearance
The front of the box is printed with the SAMSUNG brand, charger name and a picture of the set appearance.
The back is printed with information such as the contents of the package, charger parameters, etc.
The package contains a charger, data cable, user manual and three-pack voucher.
The attached cable is a CC cable, the cable ends are bent and bent, and the head shell is frosted for easy insertion and removal. Since the 25W charger supports a maximum output current of 3A, a 3A cable is built-in.
The measured cable length is about 1 meter.
The charger adopts a BLACK shell made of PC material, the main surface is frosted, the top edge is brightly treated, and the waist is overly rounded on all sides, using no hands.
The center of the front of the fuselage is designed with a lightning logo and the words "Super Fast Charging".

Using the ChargerLAB POWER-Z KT002, this charger supports PD3.0 and PPS fast charging protocols.
In addition, the PDO message shows that the C port also has two sets of fixed voltage gears of 5V3A and 9V2.77A, as well as two sets of PPS voltage gears of 3.3-5.9V3A and 3.3-11V2.75A.
Second, Samsung S22 original 25W fast charge disassembly
Remove the output housing and remove the PCBA module, and the housing is ultrasonically soldered in a package.
The measured module length was 44.58mm.
The width is 36.25mm.
The thickness is 17.64mm.
On the front of the board, capacitor gluing, there is an isolation plate between the primary and secondary stages.
At a glance on the back of the board, the primary level also has glue to help the chip dissipate heat.
Clean up and see that the back of the board is equipped with a rectifier bridge, a switching power supply primary controller and MOS tube, an optocoupler, a protocol chip, and an output VBUS switch tube.
The front of the board features a fuse, a high voltage filter electrolytic capacitor, and an I-inductor.
After the charger is plugged into the socket and energized, the current first passes through the fuse resistor
It is then converted to pulsating DC through the rectifier bridge of RYBS3010.
Then filtered into a dc current by an I-inductor and a high-voltage filter electrolytic capacitor, and the I-inductor jacket is insulated.
The high voltage filter electrolytic capacitor is from CapXon Fongbin and is 400V 15μF.
There is also a high-voltage filter electrolytic capacitor on the side.
The capacitor is also from Fongbin and is 400V 22μF.
On the other side is a main control chip power supply capacitor and a transformer.
The small capacitor is also from Fengbin, with a specification of 50V 10μF, which is used to power the main control chip.
The primary side master control chip is a Samsung custom chip from DIODES: GP801LS, SSOP9 package.

The direct current enters the primary side of the transformer, and the primary switch is controlled by the PWM controller to switch to form a high-frequency ALTERNA, which is output through the transformer step-down.

The silk screen DZ0MJ synchronous rectifier controller, also a custom part number of Samsung, is available in SOT26 package.
The output low-voltage ALTERNA is rectified into pulsating DC through the synchronous rectifier tube, and the synchronous rectified MOS tube adopts the Mutual Creation International SFTN6567MP-D.
The pulsating DC is filtered into DC by a solid capacitor, which is also from Fengbin and has a specification of 14V 560μF.
The protocol chip is from DIODES' AP43771, DFN3030-14 package.

Charging head net disassembly summary
The Samsung Galaxy S22 comes standard with a 25W charger that supports PD3.0 and PPS fast charging protocols, which can be charged with new machines and well adapted to Samsung's various old models. Through disassembly, it is found that it adopts QR switching power supply architecture design, adopts a full set of DIODES power supply solutions, and Fongbin electrolytic capacitors and solid capacitors for input and output filtering, and the overall material is solid and reliable.
Previously charging head network test Samsung 25W and 45W charger charging the same mobile phone the whole time spent, don't look at the power difference of 20W, in fact, 45W charger is not much faster. Considering that the price difference between the two chargers is nearly one hundred yuan, so the users who started the S22+, for the sake of cost performance, the 25W charger is also worth starting.
