Scars of Tears is a suspense film produced by Columbia Pictures, directed by Taylor Heckford, and co-starring Kathy Bates, Jennifer Jason Lee, Christopher Plummer, and Judy Parrie ford.
Scars of Tears is based on Stephen King's novel The Amazing Bird. It tells the story of Dolores, a woman with an unhappy marriage and a difficult life, who was twice considered a murder suspect.
It begins with a horrific killing scene, with Vera lying bleeding from the dark staircase, muttering, "Please kill me."
