Robles is hiring PS engineers or will land on Sony consoles

Robles is a very popular game. According to Robles, there are nearly 50 million online users every day. Part of the reason is that it's free and available on many different platforms, including iOS, Android, PC, and Xbox. But it hasn't landed on the PlayStaion console so far.

That could soon change, though, as Robles has released a job posting for the "Senior Software Engineer, PlayStation Host."

"As a console software engineer, you'll help build and support our game engine, which is used by millions of users worldwide on the Sony PlayStation platform and other leading consoles on the market," Robles said in the job details. The job posting also said that one of the job's responsibilities was to "develop and support the Robles client application for console platforms such as Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4." ”

While this job posting suggests that the company is seriously considering introducing Robles to PlayStation, it's unclear if or exactly when it will be released on Sony's platform. That said, Robles has previously expressed an openness to expanding into new platforms. On the May 2021 earnings call, Robles CEO David Baszucki said that quests for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Meta (formerly Facebook) were all "very meaningful to Robles" and that they were "logical platforms," but added that "we will not share any launch or launch dates." ”
