Passenger Car Retail Sales of 223,000 Units in the First Week of March Down 13% y/y

Zhitong Finance APP learned that data from the Association of Passenger Vehicles showed that from March 1 to 6, the retail sales of passenger cars were 223,000 units, down 13% year-on-year, down 49% from the previous week, and up 42% from the same period last month. Wholesale passenger cars totaled 239,000 units, down 21% year-on-year, down 52% from the previous week and up 44% from the same period last month. In the first week of March, retail sales in the overall narrow passenger car market reached an average of 37,000 units per day, down 13% year-on-year, and the performance was relatively weak, up 42% from the average for the first two weeks of February.
